Darkness overcame myself and my team as we entered a cave.
"Night vision on."
Each troopers typical black helmet lens illuminated a bright green which glowed off the cave walls as the light grew dimmer and dimmer.
"Ugh whats that small?"
"I don't know 318, but I can practically see it."
Pressing onward I began to detect a wind vibration with my advanced audio receptors. I raise my hand, ordering the ground to halt.
"Weapons ready boys."
The sound of E-11's and DTT-19's being tuned echoed through the cave. This in turn caused the vibrations to become more frequent, and more importantly, closer.
"Bugs incoming!"
The cave was lit up in a mixture of red laser blasts and green pulses. This would serve as both training and a demonstration of my troopers skills. A trooper began to scream as a mass of bugs swarmed on his position, trying to lift him off his feet.
"Get off filthy creatures!"
"347, move your arm!"
He did so in a calm and professional manner, allowing TK-964 a clear shot to the bugs. Meanwhile the rest of the troopers pressed forward, slaughtering ever bug that stood in their way. As TK-XX6 finished the last one with a clean shot to the head, I assumed the lead once again and pressed forward. It took us around an hour to reach the end of the cave, and when we did all that lay before us was a ruined landscape, torn apart by our war machine. The Rebel front line however managed to stay strong, no doubt due to their newly acquired hope. We began moving down the ridge towards the massive force consisting of droids, geonosians, and rebel troopers.
"Seeing these old rust buckets makes me want to laugh, how the hell have they been able to last this long?"
The presence of the Jedi became more and more apparent as we neared the base of the ridge, I knew at this point they could sense my presence as well.
"Ready yourselves, approach the front line from the South, I will deal with any resistance I encounter on my way to the Jedi."
Each trooper nodded and we split up, I made my way towards the rear unit while my men went straight for the front. The Jedi was close, I knew they had prepared for my arrival. The sounds of battle could be heard in the distance, and soon I heard footsteps along canyon, and soon they appeared before me, ready to fight, ready to die.
