Yoongi stepped out of his cab irritated and tired. He very much so regretted choosing the 3am flight. He was in no way prepared enough for an 8 hour flight to america just so he could attend some music festival the girl he liked suggested. The moment he stepped inside, he had to shield his eyes from the fluorescent lights. He blinked a couple times and rubbed the tiredness from his eyes. Yoongi lifted
his wrist to check the time.

Just enough time to find some trashy coffee and board the plane. Yoongi walks around to find a map of the airport, and finds a big board with confusing directions. He checks at least 3 times, but ends up at a gift shop with tacky graphic shirts with the airport's logo on them. Yoongi sighs in frustration and walks around the place attempting to find the coffee place without going to the wrong location. As he walks, he makes sure to take in potential fellow passengers. He sees an older man with a small dog in a holder, talking to it. Hopefully saying nice things. Yoongi looks across the way and sees a woman with her assumed daughter. The daughter looks upset, with tear stained cheeks and crossed arms. Her mother sympathizes her daughter by wiping her excess tears. Yoongi thinks of endless scenarios could end up with a crying daughter and comforting mother. Before he knows it, he's found his coffee place. Yoongi walks through the doors and heads straight towards the counter. Behind the counter is a girl with dyed blue tips in her hair. She looks 2x tired than Yoongi, which he thought wasn't possible.
"How can I help you" she says, with an almost monotone voice.
"Can I just have a mocha iced coffee, and a croissant" says Yoongi. The girl nods and starts to work on the secret potion that can wake Yoongi up a little. As she works, Yoongi observes the place a little more. It had a mostly artsy vibe to it. Surprising for an airport with mediocre shops and food. Wooden chairs and tables were scattered around, and the decor was either something wooden or yellow. Or yellow wood.
"Hey, your coffee is ready" the barista says, waiting for Yoongi.
"Thank you" he says, taking his croissant and coffee. He ends up sitting at a small table by an oil painting of sunflowers. Yoongi studies the painting, and spots two children playing, hidden in the painting.
"My grandmother made me that" the barista says. She exhales deeply before elaborating deeper.
"She was a very talented artist. She would start painting, and I would go out to play, and by the time I came back, there was a finished piece of art waiting for me." She says, admiring her grandmothers work.
"That was the last thing she ever made. After that, she developed severe Alzheimer's. She didn't remember anything, but she convinced herself to love my family nonetheless." She looked away from the painting and sighed. Yoongi studies the painting even deeper. There is so much meaning in something that is looked upon daily. Yoongi finished his early morning breakfast, and checks his watch.

Not running late. Yoongi thanks the barista, and walks out of the shop. He finds another map, and looks for his gate. He walks down towards the end of gates, and finally finds his number. 11. He checks through security and heads toward the plane entrance. Yoongi enters the plane, and finds his seat. Right next to the window, third row in. He sat down and waited for the plane to take flight. In the meantime, he scrolled through Instagram and listened to music.

The plane should be taking off at any moment. Right as the entrance is about to close, a boy around Yoongi's age runs onto the plane. He's extremely handsome, and has simple delicate features. The boy attempts to catch his breath as he tries to find his seat. Yoongi watches as he walks around, silently praying to end up close to him. The mystery boy finally finds his seat. Right next to Yoongi. His prayers have been answered, and oh how glad he was. The boy sits down and gets comfortable. After a few last minutes, the airplane attendants start their safety instructions at the front. All the while, the boy attempts to find something in his bag. He reaches down and bumps Yoongi's knee really hard. Yoongi grimaces in pain and massages the spot.
"Oh gosh, I didn't mean that. I'm so sorry" the boy says, apologizing over and over again.
"No worries, it'll be fine." The boy apologizes one more time and shows a sorrowful expression. Yoongi could tell there was something wrong. Nobody apologizes that many times for something so simple.
"My name is Yoongi" he says.
"I'm Jimin" the boy says
