Cam has his first home game of the season tonight and Caiden and I are going to the game. Cam always leaves a couple hours before the game.

"Bye baby, see you after the game"

"Bye, love you"

"Love you too" he said as he enveloped me in a hug before walking out the door. Caiden and I had just got into the club suit as the game was about to start.

"NO!! Cam" I gasped as I watched Cam get slam into the boards. Then Cam was then thrown into the boards head first, hard. We watched as he crumpled to the ice and stayed down before being helped up and helped off the ice, I chewed on my bottom lip as I watched.

"Hey Kylie, Coach would like you to come down to the lockers and talk to Cam, he's still pretty out of it, but he insist on still playing, even though coach and the medic told him he needs to sit out the rest of the game" Joe from the Honda center security said. I nod and follow him to where Cam is, when we arrive Cam is laying on the bench with his hands covering his face and he's groaning like he's in pain.

"Awe babe" I pouted as I rubbed one of his arms.

"Kylie" He groaned again taking his hands down so he could see me. Cam's helmet and gloves were off and laying on the bench on the other side of the room that is parallel to the one he is laying on.

"I'll be fine, just give me a few minutes to recover, then I can go out and finish the game" He continued.

"Hey, no you need to just sit out the rest of the game it's almost over anyways"

"Kylie really, I'm..." he started to say before I cut him off, he reached out to hold my hand.

"No, I don't want to hear it, coach and the medic says you need to sit out the rest of the game" he sighed and quit fighting.

"Kylie, can we talk?" Josh, the medic asked.

"Yes, sure" I walked out the room and around the corner.

"Cam needs to go home and rest, if he still feels bad by the day after tomorrow, their next game, he needs to stay home for that game too, he needs lots of rest" he nodded before walking away. I walked back into the room where Cam was and he was still laying down except now his pads and skates were off and he was back in his clothes he left the house in. Cam and I headed home, I drove Cam's car since Caiden drove me in his car to the game. When we got home we both went straight to bed, though I couldn't go to sleep. I was so worried about Cam I was afraid to drift off to sleep, just in case he needed me, so I only allowed my self a couple hours of sleep at a time.

"Good morning Beautiful, you look exhausted, did you get any sleep last night?" Cam asked with worry expression when he finally got up, which was close to noon.

"I am, I was so worried about you I couldn't allow myself to sleep more then a few hours at a time"

"Awe I am so sorry, I feel a lot better today, why don't you go back to bed and try to get some sleep" He said pulling me into a hug and kissing me.

"Maybe I will, how did you sleep?"

"It was rough at first, but once I got to sleep I slept well." I looked up at him and he kissed me.

"That's good, I think I'm going to go lay down for a little bit" I shuffled to the room and he sat on the couch and flipped on the TV. I must of fell asleep for a good hour, before I heard Cam yell for me, worried I jumped out of bed and followed the sound of his voice to find where he was.

"What's wrong Babe?" I asked him when I arrived at the bathroom where I found him sitting on the floor arms hugging his legs and his face hidden.

"I got nauseous and dizzy all of a sudden and had shooting pain in my head, so I came in here, I want to play tomorrow" he whined, he sounded like a disappointed little kid.

"Ok, just take it easy, I'll make you some toast to help the nausea" I rubbed his back before leaving. I was worried this was getting worse. When his toast popped up I put some butter on it and then took it to him.

"Here, you can also try saltines and hot tea too to make you feel better" I said handing him the toast. He smiled up at me as he took the toast.

"Eat slowly or you'll make yourself sicker" I added.

"Thanks Mom" he joked. I just rolled my eyes at him.

"If you get worse you need to make yourself a doctor's appointment and stay home from tomorrow's game"

"Ugh, ok" he sighed. He finally was able to get up and went to bed, the toast made him feel a little bit better, he pretty much could only hold down chicken soup, saltines, and toast.

"How did I go from being out of it yesterday, to feeling ok this morning, then to feeling really sick? I just want to be fine and play Hockey tomorrow" he complained. I tried my best to make him feel better, but he didn't want me to catch what he had so he kept pushing me away.

"I appreciate all you have done to take care of me today and make me feel better, but if I have the flu we both shouldn't have to suffer"

"I want to take care of you because I love you, besides I'm not worried about getting sick, I'm just want you to get better so you can play in tomorrow's game"

"I know you do, thank you, I would do the same if you were sick, I love you too Kylie" he smiled lovingly at me.
