Prologue

Third person POV

Cadence walked into the loft slowly.

All she saw were those shell casings. Derek was no where in sight.

Her heartbeat was faster than ever. She didn't know what to do.

"Derek?!" She yelled into the emptiness of the loft. Hearing an echo.

"Oh sweetie. Didn't you hear the first time? I told you I was taking him away. But I guess I'll take you too. To keep you out of my way." Kate said from behind her. That whole statement made my her made her shiver. She turned around slowly.

"Where. Is. He?!" Cadence seethed through her teeth.

"Oh. You want him? Come and get him, my sweet girl." Before she could even charge her, Kate brought out a gun and shot her. In the torso. And she fell.

"Derek.." Cadence breathed out and she was out cold.

"Better." Kate said. And she clapped, bringing two big giants in to carry and guard. Beserkers. "If this doesn't work. What will I do?" Kate asked herself.

Not an hour later, Scott goes to talk to them.

But he found what Cadence found.

But with one more casing.

From the Bullet that took her out.
