Chapter 21 - A Road Block

"I don't know what happened!" Mabel grabbed Dipper by the shirt and yelled in his face then releases him. "I got lost in his eyes, ponytail, and I'm going to be so embarrassed if I don't have it on friday!"

"But what about solving this code?" you asked.

"Mystery trio. Remember?" Dipper added.

"If you guys just help me with this for a few days, I promise I'll help you guys with the password." Mabel pleated. "Please! Please! Please! Please! Please! Please!"

Dipper backed away a little and looked to your direction for help. "Your call Dipper."

"It's for love Dipper." Mabel added with sparkling eyes and her hands together.

"Alright... I'll-" Dipper gave up.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Mabel bear hugged Dipper. Then she pointed at Dipper and shouted, "This guy! He's number one!"

The whole area's people turned and stared at the noise being made, you covered your face with the book in hand. "Mabel. We're in a library... Stop shouting!" you yelled in your mind.

"Okay. Okay. Okay. Shhh..." Dipper quieted Mabel.

"Are you going to help me out as well, (Y/N)?" Mabel asked you.

"Well, since Dipper is also helping out-" you lowered the book then Mabel bear hugged you as well.

After awhile letting go and shouted. "This girl! Number-" you placed your hand over her mouth and shook your head. Mabel got the message and nodded, you let go of her.

"Let's go back to the shack and talk there." Dipper suggested. You strongly agreed and Mabel nodded.

The twins started talking about their plans as you walked behind them. You immediately stopped when you felt Bill's presence, you saw the shape of Bill in triangle follow the twins. "What are you planning Cipher?"

You narrowed your eyes and watched as the twins walk back to the shack as well as keeping an eye out for Bill, you know Bill is up to something when you didn't see him in your usual morning walk in the forest.

~Time Skip~

Over the past few days, you have been helping Mabel with her sock puppet play in the morning and helping Dipper with solving the password to the laptop by night. You are personally fine with not sleeping for two three weeks due to your assassin training but you can see that Dipper wasn't, it has only been a few days and Dipper was getting bags under his eyes.

Today was thursday and you were out in the forest for your usual morning walk, as you walk you have one hand in your pocket and the other playing with a dagger. "Mabel has been working hard on her play for a boy, and Dipper has been working hard on solving the password. Still, he needs rest and won't as long as he haven't figure out the password! Why can't Mabel think about others first."

"You know it's dangerous to play with a sharp object when you are deep in thought right?" the voice echoed in the area and turned to a gray scale.

"Not when you are an assassin." you said as you look at the figure floating in front of you with a smirk. "So what have you been up to?"

"Aww~ did a certain assassin miss me over the past few days?" Bill said and poked his cheek while smiling at you.

"No." you plainly said. "So what have you been planning?"

"Who? Me?" Bill said with a 'shocked' face.

"Yes you. I seen you following the twins when we were in the town library." you stated, still playing with the dagger, your eyes narrowed at him.

"A mind of an assassin." Bill said with a smirk while circling around you when standing in front of you. "Keen eyes you have."

"Stop with the flatley." you said. "Now answer my question."

"Fine, here's the truth." Bill closed his eye and crossed his arms. "You should tell Pine Tree to sleep. He needs it."

"Why? So you can invade his mind?" you asked.

"No, I can't. I need to make a deal first." Bill opened his eye again and looked straight at you. "If he doesn't I'm afraid he might make some wrong choices..."

"What are you implying?" you hissed with venom.

"You're so smart. I'm sure you can figure it out." Bill said with a grin. "See you soon~" he started to float back.

"Wait! Come back here Cipher!" you shouted and ran towards him, but he just smiled and waved at you.

The colours came back and Bill was nowhere to be seen. "Damn Cipher! Always with the riddles..." you turned and walked back to the shack. "Guess I'll just have to stay by Dipper's side to stop him from making any wrong choices..."

Author's Notes: Sock Opera! Finally! I've been waiting forever to write this, sadly the best part is yet to come.
