Getting Ready

Roxy POV

Hi my name is Roxy Rose, yeah it seem too much but that was the name my mom give me before she pass away after giving birth to me. My dad Andrew Rose is always in the hospital or at work. I am taken care of by my maid who love me like a daughter and was their when ever I needed her. Some people may call me spoilt but that is not true, just because I live in a mansion and I seem to get everything I want, doesn't mean I am happy. I have a very over protected father and maids who care the world for me. I have no friends but my stuff animals and they are only two a purple and white cat and a brown and black dog all who I sleep with and I love dearly. I am not allowed to go through the gates of the mansion at all so I play in the garden outside with my stuff animals. I always miss my dad when he has to go away for a long time from home, I would stay inside my room and read a book till it is time to eat breakfast, lunch, supper or dinner.But Denisha my maid always bring a smile to my face no matter what and the cook who is Adrico always seems to cook the best meals that always cheer me up. I have a pet cat name Darling, she is the fluffiest thing I ever saw and love, she sleep at the bottom of my bed even though she has a cat bed.

"Roxy dear, please come down for your breakfast." say Denisha from outside of Roxy's bedroom door.

"Coming. " I say taking up my bag.

(1 minute later)

"Sorry, for taking so long, I could not find my tie." I say sitting down at the breakfast table. My hair is let down and I have on a white shirt with a blue tie and a purple jacket along with  a dark blue skirt with dark purple long tights underneath it and black shoes. I also have on my favourite black, white and purple scarf that was once her mothers. Last of all her black handbag.

"It is ok, but you should have call one of us to look for it for you." say Adrico uncovering Roxy's breakfast.

"I know I just.... never mind." I say looking down at the end of the table at the chair where her father was suppose to be, but is off on a next business trip sense he came out the hospital. Then looking at the other end of the table were my mom was suppose to be. Closing my eyes I look away and start to eat my breakfast.

Knowing I miss my dad, Denisha didn't want me to go to school but with straight orders from Mr. Rose it had to be done.

After breakfast I was ready to go. With Denisha at my side we get into the car and not looking at anyone quietly cry knowing now they was no turning back and that if my father was with me he would comfort me to some extent. When we arrive at my new school, Denisha check me in to the office with a weak smile.

"Ok honey, no matter what remember that you always have your dad and he wish you good luck on your first day, he also say he wish he could be here and no matter what we always love you." say Denisha giving me a small hug.

"Ok Denisha, I will remember, Love you." I say slowly following the secretary.

"Love you to." say Denisha

There is no turning back now, papa said at age 15 he will allow me to go to a public school, now it is time but I just wish he was here.
