The Unexpected Love

•chapter 2•

*6 days later*

*kaylee's POV*

Tomorrow was the day. We had to leave for North Carolina. I didn't even want to think about leaving. I finished packing my room and went out to the pond before bed. This was the last time I would ever come here. I will miss all the times I sat here with Jamie and Savannah talking about everything together. A place where we grew so close together, and became sisters. I was going to miss them so much. I decided to go ahead and walk home before I started crying. I got back to my room and changed into a t-shirt and some cheer shorts and went to bed.

*Next Morning*

I woke up and brushed my teeth and put on my diamond supply sweatshirt, some different cheer shorts, and slipped on my silver sparkly vans. Then before I headed out I pulled my long brown hair into a top knot and grabbed my backpack.

I walked outside and all our boxes were loaded in the moving truck and we were all ready to go. I saw Jamie and Savannah coming up my driveway. I ran over to them and hugged them and started to cry as I choked out a goodbye. I got in the backseat of the car as I waved goodbye to my friends forever. As we were on our way to the airport I just laid in the backseat and cried.

*the airport*

When we got to the airport I grabbed my little backpack which was my carryon for the plane. As we were waiting for the flight I ran over to Starbucks to get a croissant and a vanilla bean frappe for breakfast. I sat down at a table and ate my breakfast while scrolling through twitter. Then I heard

Flight 63 to North Carolina now boarding

I threw away my trash and headed over by my mom and my little brother. We boarded the plane and I was beside a window and my brother was sitting to my left. I pulled out my Mac and plugged my beats and watched a few YouTube videos before I drifted to sleep.

*After the plane ride*

Once the plane ride was over my mom took us to Chipotle for lunch. She knew that it was my favorite. We arrived at the house after lunch. My mom showed us all around. I liked the house a lot it was very nice. My room was pastel purple with a walk in closet, and I couldn't wait to decorate it with my new furniture. I finally had my own bathroom after having to share one with my brother for 5 years. The bathroom was beautiful it was like the size of a master bath complete with a vanity sink with makeup mirror lights. There was a nice glass walk in shower and a huge jacuzzi tub.To make myself feel at home I decided to set up my furniture. My mom had bought me new furniture for my room I put up the new white dresser and vanity. I put up my white bed frame and mattress, then put on my Tiffany blue comforter from VS. The pillow cases had pink written on them in white cursive with the same turquoise blue fabric behind the letters. I put away all my clothes, shoes, makeup, hair stuff, and everything else. Then I grabbed my phone and my penny board and decided to ride around. I yelled to my mom that I was heading out and walked out the door.

I found a small park near my house. I rode over to the swings and sat down scrolling through my phone. I heard a little girl say, "Hi." She kind of scared me so I jumped a little and she laughed. Then she said," My name is Skylynn." I said,"Hi Skylynn my name is Kaylee." Then a boy with brown hair and gorgeous ice blue eyes walked over and said, "Come on Sky we have to go home." Skylynn said, "Okay bye Kaylee." I waved goodbye to her.

As I looked back up from my phone I saw the boy looking at me he smiled and waved at me.

AN: I know this chapter is really long but I wanted to set up her new house in North Carolina.I also wanted to finally get Kaylee to meet Skylynn and Nash. I hope you guys enjoyed it ! I know I enjoyed writing it. Thanks for reading.
