"Dad! Hello, Father!" I shout going around the house, frantically looking for my other cleat.

After about ten more minutes of looking, Scary Sage comes into the living room and hands me the mate to my black Nike cleat. I grab it before putting it in my soccer bag and then hearing the horn honk again outside. "Is your mom going to be at your game?" Sage wonders.

Sage, my dad's new fiance, hates my mom with a burning passion, not realizing that she's going to have to deal with two kids that my dad had with my mom. I shrug, "Probably not. I need to go. Tell my dad the game starts at six," I mumble, then leaving, not waiting for her to be even more annoying.

I go out to the car and get into the pink Jeep. Sami is in the front seat and Taylor as well as Sasha is in the back of the Jeep. "What took you so long?" Sami says in a whiny voice. I roll my eyes and put on my seatbelt, ignoring her question.

Throughout the ten minute car ride, we practically scream the lyrics to Baby by Justin Bieber. See, everyone may hate that song, and I very well may hate that song, but Sami freaking loves Justin Bieber and will listen to any song by him. And if Baby comes on, don't even act like you won't sing if you don't have a choice but to listen to anything except for that freaking song.

Once we get to the school, Sami and Taylor go to the locker rooms to get ready, but since Sasha and I are already dressed, we go to the benches to put on our cleats. As I'm tying my last cleat, Josh comes over to us. He slings his arm around Sasha's shoulders, and I look over at the coaches, glad they're not paying attention.

Sasha would be screamed at for talking to her boyfriend when practice is about to start. Josh looks over at me and a warm smile plays across his lips, "Aren't you going to the lake tomorrow, Em?" Josh wonders.

I nod and put my slides in my black gym bag with the words PINK across it in sequence, "Yeah, why?"

"Oh, no reason," Josh asks suspicious and I would try to get whatever it is out of him, but I notice Sami and Taylor coming over to us. Josh goes up to the stands with his group of friends who like to watch practice.

After an hour and a half of us practicing, the rival school finally gets here as well as other people. I go over to my gym bag and get a drink of water while Taylor goes over to talk to her mom. They seem to get into a heated conversation and I can see Taylor get upset. I just really hope this doesn't affect the game.

As the game is about to start, I continue to look for my dad and brother in the stands but they're nowhere to be seen. About thirty minutes into the game and getting elbowed endlessly without the ref giving them any penalties, I look back at the stands and see my dad and my brother, but Sage or my mom is nowhere to be seen.

Once the game is over and bruises forming in many places, I grab my gym bag and go into the stands to where my dad and brother are. My dad is on his phone while Cain is just sitting there, gawking at the girls. "Hey guys," I say as I sit next to Cain.

    "Hey, loser."

"Braceface," I bark back at my fourteen year old demon that I'm supposed to call brother.

    "Bitch.

"Okay, enough," My dad says very loudly. "You don't call your sister a bitch, or any women that, Cain," My dad scolds Cain.

I smirk because Cain got in trouble and he flips me off whenever my dad isn't watching. My dad gets up and finally puts his phone in his pocket. "You did great honey," My dad says as we head towards his car.

Knowing that he probably didn't even watch most of the game, I just roll my eyes and don't even give him a response. It's times like these that I wish my mom was stable enough to show up to my games. She at least paid attention to me and cheered as hard as she could. My dad hardly ever even watches the game.
