I stood in shock
In the corner
With a room filled
With screaming people
I blankly stared
At your face
As traumatizing the voices were
You lay there
Peacefully
Making no sound
The white cloth
With the black on top
One final call
Yet again
Sadness filled the air
As the sun slowly set
You did too
YOU ARE READING
Death By Bed
PoetryThis is dedicated to my grandmother, Rest in peace. I hope I can become as good as you one day.
