Chapter 3: Lightning hates us

As the bus stops I walk out still scared about what Grover was talking about.

"I need to use the bathroom you guys stay here together understand!" he yells as I frowned.

"You don't own me" I yelled as he looked at me and I shake head.

As he went Percy and I left anyways and we got to his house.

"Want to meet my mom?" he says as I shrug might as well then I walk in disgusting. As i see man a BIG man playing poker as he looked as us then turns back.

"Watch out girly Percy is a perv he's full of hormones" the man taunted as Percy stares at him pissed.

"Stop up I'm tired of you" he says as I follow him upstairs to see his mom.

"Why are you still with him?" he ask as I cover my ears as they finally look at me.

"Who's the girl?" she asks with a smile.

"Claire" I say as she shakes my hand.

"Nice to meet you Claire." she says as Percy spills the brand about what happened but not everything.

"That seemed rough you two went through a lot so what about I take you two to the beach?" she says as I smile.

"Sure!" I say as I think about dad 'he can wait' I thought as we get in the car and go.
