"No, she is just clumsy." Sam said appearing next to me "Nice to meet you, Vampire, I am Sam. I am blood type O+ just so you are aware and if you want to turn me into a vampire you are more than welcome." He said holding his hand out to shake. He let go of me first and shook Sam's hand.
"Nice to meet you, Sam. Shall we head off?" he said before stopping as he opened his door "You are going to Redbeech right?"
"Yeah, that would be awkward if we weren't going the same place," I said getting in the front of the car
"So are you two actually going to tell each other your names or what?" Sam asked
"I think even if we knew each other's name I know I would still call you Vampire, I have been calling you that now for what 3 years." I said honestly not caring for his real name "Wait, I just realised I didn't come out the house with my garlic and a wooden stake." I huffed while Vampire burst out laughing.
"I won't bite you on our first meeting, that's just the etiquette of Vampirism." He said in complete seriousness
"Oh thank goodness, I'll have to set a reminder for the morning," I say while actually putting it into my phone. "So what subjects are you taking?" I asked trying to find my planner in my bag trying to fill the silence that was sucking the life out of me.
"Drama, English, Chemistry and Maths," he said trying to remember what he had chosen six weeks ago "What about you?"
"Drama, Chemistry, Bio, Art and design."
"So we have drama and chemistry together..." He said wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"Seems so," I smirked back
"You two are now my OTP too," Sam said from the back of the car, I roll my eyes and look out the window as we pull up by the school to park in a side road, he parked up and we headed off
"Okay... so do you two want a lift home later?" He asked as we went through the gates
"Please, I'm too lazy for this walking malarky," Sam said before walking off as he saw one of his friends
"That would be great, I'll meet you at the car after school, I'll tell Sam," I say
"So what is the deal with this school, is it just like the rest?" He asks while we walked down the hallway
"Pretty much, from what I have gathered. What tutor class are you?"
"Mr King in S11, do you know him?"
"Yeah he is really nice he was my tutor before. I'm around the corner so I'll drop you off." I said turning us around heading to the science department
"Hey, Sir how you doing? I'm Just dropping Vampire off, wish this was still my form." I said walking in and sitting down in my old seat.
"Vampire? Right well, you better get into your new class Maine, the bell is about to go."
I salute him before patting Vampire's back and whispering "For Narnia and Aslan!" In his ear, to which he laughs and shakes his head
"I'll see you later." He nods
This might actually be a good thing we have going.
