You entered the jet and sat by the window looking out, thinking about what just happened.
Having more regrets by the second.

Your train of thought was interrupted by Morgan, sitting in the chair right in front of you, looking at you weirdly.

"You okay?" He asked.
"You look lost, you know you can talk to me right? I'm here for you" he added.

"Yeah... Yeah I'm fine" I answered.
"You don't really look fine to me" he then said.

You looked aroud, everyone was doing something.
Reid getting some coffee, Rossi and Hotch where talking about *something* you didn't know what but Hotch looked quite serious, but then again, when does he not. JJ, Emily and Liza where also talking.

You looked back at Derek and sighed.
"I just... I don't know" you said to him.
"Is this about the case?" He asked.

"Yeah, I feel... I feel like I did the wrong thing today" you answered.

"Look (Y/N), I know you feel like you did the wrong thing, but you didn't. What you did was quite rational and dangerous, it could've ended badly, but it worked out in the end. You did what you felt was right, we just didn't see what was going on. I mean... It's your first case and everyone makes mistakes, maybe this wasn't even a mistake maybe it wouldn't have worked if we tried anything else. We'll never know. But I know, that you weren't wrong, everything is okay." He said

"Thanks... That really helps... The thing is, you know but... What about the rest of the team? And Hotch? Everyone probably hates me, I'll get fired i-"
He cought you off by taking you hand, "hey, no, you're gonna be fine. No one hates you for doing the right thing, Hotch is not going to fire you for anything like this, I promise" he then said.

Your pov now

is... Is he holding my hand?
My heart skipped a beat... Am... Am I falling in love with him?
Isn't that against the rules? It might be... I don't know

Morgan's pov

When I held her hand like that, I realized I love her, all these feelings from the moment I met her, I love her...

I started leaning in, knowing this was my chance. But then getting interrupted by Rossi telling us we landed already.
