My face leans on my hand as i let out a heavy breath, the warm air flows out of my mouth like silk and weaves its way through the paper. A silver coin dances between my fingers as I continuously flip it, watching the moonlights reflection move.
My eyes are shut half way as i stare off into nothing, thinking of everything and anything. It's 1 AM and I really should be sleeping, but i'm just not tired enough.
Just breathe.
In.... and out.... in.... and out again. The slight lack of oxygen makes me kinda dizzy as i sit there in silence. The coin keeps flipping and I keep breathing. The curtains around my window flows with the howling wind coursing calmly through my room, the chilly air leaving goosebumps on my exposed skin.
I stop the coin in my palm and stand up, letting out yet another heavy breath. The dust particles in the air move around me as I walk towards my bed, plopping down on it with a soft thud, thinking about how I should clean my room soon, since i shouldn't really be seeing the dust, but whatever.
Does anyone even care that I left?. The thought passes through my mind before I could stop it, but i don't care, after all it might be true. No one there wanted to be my friend after what i did. I don't know what it is about me that makes me do stuff like that, but i feel the need to have the attention of everyone in the room on me at all times.
I curl into myself as I pull the blankets over me, my curly hair being the only thing visible to the outside world. School starts tomorrow. I moved here a month ago, away from all of them. From all the people who know. It feels good to get away from everyone, even if it's probably gonna turn out the same here. Stop it with the negative thoughts already Chris, you know it only makes it worse.
I hope people leave me alone at this school, its was bad enough at the last one.
And on that though I drift off to sleep. 1:57 AM
