The New Start

For Mckenzie, it's been a year since she has last been in a public school. She was getting tired of the therapies and medication too. But she kept telling herself that it's worth it cause she'll end up dating Cole. When she was a guy she did tell him that she liked him but Cole kept rejecting the old her cause she was a guy and he wasn't that way. She always got friend zoned each time she would hit on him.

But Mckenize knew that this time would be different cause she was a girl and not a guy. When her parents did her register her at that school they had to lie in deep. They put up a story that they had another kid and was always going off with other family members. At the time it seemed true cause Mckenzie's parents separated after her father started seeing the results after a few months later. That he couldn't stand the change and then her parents argued a lot after that he left promising he wouldn't ever come back to that house.  Mckenize was put as a new student in her middle school and soon enough started to feel normal again. Knowing that she got to be what she wanted to be. Mckenzie kept feeling summer never ended then kept imaging dating Cole and told herself "now I am a dead bachelor!!" 

Summer blew a breeze of school starting and Mckenize felt very confident and proud. Walking out of her house to go back to the loud school bus was worth it. She got n the bus and saw that Cole had nobody sitting next to him then she walked up near him and asked: " Do you mind if I sit next to you ?" He smiled and said, "this seat is all yours!"
