Ten • Life Saver

Kakyoin summons Hierophant Green and leads it behind the truck, you turn around to look at it. Hierophant Green is now right next to a car's window, you smile in amazement at it once it uses Emerald Splash, "Unbelievable! He blocked my Emerald Splash with just his finger! He didn't even move from his seat!" says Kakyoin. You see him try again but this time the aim is narrowed.

"I narrowed my aim and he still dodged it!" he says "D.. Damn it!" you then see a golden stand coming out of the car... The World. It throws a punch at Hierophant Green and knocks him backwards, you turn around and look at Kakyoin, now bleeding from his head and hands. "N-Noriaki, are you okay?!" you ask. "Yeah... I'm fine." he answers, smiling at you and blushing a pretty shade of pink, you smile back, still visibly concerned, tour cheeks dusted pink as well. "Careful Kakyoin! You got too close!" "Sorry I-I just..."

"Kakyoin! You're bleeding! Are you alright? Did you see The World?!" Joseph asks, while you rummage through your pockets finding the handkerchief you were looking for. "Noriaki give ne your hands while you talk to Mr. Joestar." you say, he calmly obliges blushing slightly once again, as he starts speaking "Yes, I did. I attacked him from about ten meters range, if I had gotten any closer I would've been killed." you tremble a little thinking about that while you rip your handkerchief in half. "But Mr. Joestar! You're definitely right! His stand is a close range type for sure!" he says, you take a half of your handkerchief and put it gently around his hand wounds, doing the same for his other hand.

"His stand is very similar to Jotaro's! Except it's beyond formidable! We still don't know its secret but there are two things we know for sure! One, his stand's range seems to be aproximately ten meters, meaning he can't reach as far as Hierophant Green or Hermit Purple. Two, it attacked me with its fists so it doesn't seem to have a projectile weapon, like bullets. If we sneak up on him within ten meters we might have a chance" he says, smiling at you and mouthing a 'thank you' afterwards. "He still have to figure out what his ability is though. " you say "Yes, we can never be too careful around him." says Joseph.

"Wait. His car stopped... Something's wrong here..." he says, Kakyoin and you glance at the car "Watch out! There's something coming towards us!" Kakyoin yells. You scream as a bloody corpse flies right througj the window and lands next to you, splashing you with blood, you avert your gaze elsewhere not wanting to look at that horrible sight. The three of you summon your stands and swiftly leave the car as it crashes, climbing on top of a building, Kakyoin stays on the edge and looks down "Kakyoin, what are you doing?! Let's go!" Joseph shouts "I have an idea, I know how to find the secret of his stand..." Kakyoin responds, taking off his sunglasses.

You hide behind one of the building's towers and peek from the side, Kakyoin quickly sets up a large, almost invisible web made from Hierophant's tentacles. As soon as Dio comes up he is attacked with an Emerald Splash that he manages to block with his hand, followed by another one that he kicks furiously. You can't see very clearly from where you are, but it seemed like Kakyoin managed to hit Dio a little bit.

"The web attacks you when you touch it! It surrounds you for twenty meters in every direction! It can sense you and your stand's every move!" Kakyoin yells. "Take this Dio! Twenty meter radius Emerald Splash!"

You were sure Dio was about to attack now, it was obvious. You summon your stand and throw one of its shields directly towards Kakyoin, making sure it hit him. "It lasts for four seconds since I rarely ever use it... I hope it's enough..." you think to yourself.

Suddenly you see Kakyoin flying through the air hitting a water tower "Shit." you think, starting to shake, "That... I hope my shield made it not fatal... At least..." you glance over at Joseph and stumble back, Dio was right in front of him. "Joseph, your next... I think for Jonathan's body.. The best blood to assimilate it would be Joestar blood, right?" you could faintly hear him say.

You are startled by the clock breaking, broken by a shiny beam of emeralds "Huh? What was that?" you think, quietly walking backwards, since Dio was very perceptive you'd think he would be able to sense your movement in some way, so you were being extra careful, you were also doing it slowly since you wanted to see if Joseph would desperately needing your help in any way.

Joseph ties Dio up with Hermit Purple and prepares himself to use hamon on him, however Dio breaks free and starts chasing after Joseph. Looking around you see Jotaro and Polnareff, "Okay, great, I can check on Noriaki now! They seem to have noticed Dio and Mr. Joestar!" you say running and jumping with the help of you stand's whip over to Kakyoin. You gently pull him down from the tower onto the roof making sure he landed on top of you. You weren't strong enough to catch him properly so you had your body serve as a cushion for him to have a softer landing. It did hurt for you, but you didn't want him to have any more broken bones, yes, because he definitely had some.

You use your stand to help you sit him down on the floor, you kneel next to him, examining his wound. "Excuse me..." you say softly as you unbutton his uniform jacket, doing the same to his shirt underneath, leaving his torso exposed, however you focused only on the wound, you weren't there to admire his body. You sigh in relief "It doesn't seem fatal, his heart is still beating and he still breathes, faintly, but he does. I hope they can defeat Dio..." you think, finishing your thoughts looking over at the place Jotaro and Polnareff previously were.

Joseph had given you the Speedwagon Foundation's number. You got down from the roof slowly but surely, your stand carrying Kakyoin and placing him down on the ground, you search for a telephone booth and see one across the street. Looking both sides before crossing the road (cause really you couldn't afford being run over right now i mean look at this situation) you reach the payphone and shove a coin into it with your shaky hands. You get a paler from your pocket and read the number whole dialing it on the payphone..

You explain the whole situation and they say they'll arrive when they can and for you to stay with Kakyoin.

You run over to him again, placing his head on your lap and waiting "Please... Jotaro, Mr. Joestar... Polnareff... Kill that guy!" you say to yourself, tears of stress running down your cheeks, your whole body was shaking. All you could do is wait and pray.

The ambulances had come to pick everyone up, you smile sadly at Jotaro and inside the ambulance Kakyoin was on, Joseph was dead, his blood had been sucked out of his body, Jotaro managed to kill Dio, bringing his body back with him, you didn't really understand why but just brushed it off. You look down at Kakyoin examining his lungs, his breathing seemed a little stronger now, which was great. You manage to create a weak smile while looking at the cherry loving man.

You leave the ambulance you were on, the doctors start transporting Kakyoin into the hospital, you immediately walk over to Jotaro's ambulance, and to your absolute surprise, Joseph was alive! You smile and run over, hugging the old man, he hugs you back and pats your head after releasing you. "I'm going to check on him... Wait here for me." you say, they both nod and you go in the hospital. Some of the Speedwagon Foundation doctors saw you and came up to you to explain Kakyoin's current situation, they told you his wound wasn't fatal but still decently severe, so he would be hospitalized there in Cairo under the care of the SPW Foundation and would then be transported back to Japan. You nod a bit sadly, but happy at the same time thinking you at least would still see him again... You praised yourself for being useful and saving his life.

The doctors told you to wait for a bit while they tended to Polnareff's wounds, he'd be coming with you. You told them you'd wait outside with Jotaro and Joseph, they agreed and you walked over to them "Just wait a minute, they're taking care of Polnareff, he's coming with us." you said "What about Kakyoin, how is he?" Jotaro asks "Well... He's fine, he's breathing decently and everything... However, even though I made his wound... Uhm.. not fatal i guess you could say, it's still kind of severe, so he'll stay in the hospital for a while, the Speedwagon Foundation will transport him back to Japan afterwards." you explain, they nod.

Soon enough Polnareff comes over to you and you all leave towards the airport, with you explaining everything on your way there.

You hugged Polnareff "I hope I'll get to see you again soon, be sure to visit us, we'll miss you." you say, releasing him. He smiles warmly, "Of course. Tell Kakyoin i'm glad he's okay, whenever he comes back." you nod and smile as the french man walks off.

The flight to Japan was an hour away. You couldn't wait to get there.
