The ledge was a narrow path that lead to a rocky cliff just above the Sigknowa ocean. I used to come up here as a kid with my bestfriend Cole and together we would hang our feet over the cliff just to feel the cool mist from the water on our toes. Now that Cole was five hundred miles away in California it felt abandoned. Like it had lost it's magic. I didn't really see the point in coming up here anymore but yet here I was at the place I wouldn't find myself at in a million years. A soft tap on my shoulder brought me back to reality. I turned around. "Cole!!!" I yelled. His face was just how I had remembered it but his features were now more defined. His hair was a floppy mess, just how it had always been and his emerald green eyes were brighter. I stood up on the edge to hug him. I didn't realize how much I had missed his touch. He smiled a devilish smile and wrapped his arms around me. I looked up at him and there was black hole in the middle of his face. I pushed him away. "Cole?" He walked towards me. " Why did you let me go Mia? Why did you let me leave? They hurt me but you weren't there to save me. Save me Mia!!" He said while lunging at me. I quickly dodged it but he grabbed me around my waist. "Let me go Cole!!! Let me go!!!" We got to the edge and I could feel the cool water splashing around me feet. "Please!!! No!!!" Cole turned me around to face him. "And now I won't be there to save you..." He aggressively pushed me leaving me flailing off the cliff. I knew what was gonna happen. I closed my eyes and waited for what came next.
