Seventeen year old, Skye Auschwitz had just gotten off from work at the Steak-n-Shake: located in Ogden, Utah. She was headed to the subway station; the one she took everyday for the past three years.
She arrived just in time to board the seven o'clock train. While boarding the train, she spotted a tall, gray-headed old man wearing a long black coat. She catches eye contact; staring at the man, her curiosity grew.
A crowd of people filled the gap between her and the mysterious man. Leaning partially out of the train as far as she could to regain sight of the long-coated man; failing to fill the curiosity inside her.
The train doors began to close. She attempts to dive out of its path, but her left foot failed to succeed. The train began moving, dragging her along; the train speeds up thrusting her onto a concrete wall. She was lucky enough that her foot slipped out of the door, before ripping her leg off.
Several hours later she finds herself in a hospital bed. Slowly she leans up seeing two people. She found it strange why one of the nurses wasn't wearing a smock, but she blew it off knowing that contacting her parents was more important. "Where am I ?" she asked.
"Baby I'm right here," she hears the strange nurse say.
She replies a quick,"You're not my mom!"
"Honey, you have amnesia. I don't expect you to know who I am," her mother replies.
