"But it's still too much work." I complained. "And I don't have another bag for you."

"I can always find one." Jaemin said. "It's not like there aren't spare lunch boxes."

"Um, excuse me?" A small, timid girl came up to us. She was wearing long sleeves over her uniform top.

"Yes?" Jinyoung asked.

"C-can I-I give th-this to you?" She held out a piece of paper towards Jaemin and Jeno. Her hand was trembling.

"Which one of us?" Jaemin asked, pointing at Jeno and himself.

"Y-you." She held the paper out towards Jaemin. Jaemin took the paper and opened it. I saw the girl run back to her group of friends, who were laughing and clapping her back. I noticed Jaemin's ex was one of them.

"'Dear Na Jaemin,'" Jaemin read aloud. "'I don't know how to say this but—'oh shit. I don't think I'm supposed to read this out loud."

"What?" Jinyoung dramatically gasped. "Did Jaemin just curse?"

"Shut up." Jaemin threw a piece of his lunch at Jinyoung. "The kids aren't around."

"How do we know?" Jungwoo wiggled his eyebrows. "I mean Chenle could be secretly behind you, waiting for you to curse."

"I would know if he was behind me." Jaemin said. "His presence is quite prominent."

"Really?" Jeno raised his eyebrows. He considered Jaemin's words for a second before agreeing. "I could see it."

"See? I'm always right." Jaemin smiled proudly. He turned towards me. "Right?"

"I don't know..." I answered. "I mean you are wrong a lot."

"What?" Jaemin looked offended. "Since when?"

"Since August 13, 2000." Jeno answered.

"You have no say." Jaemin glared at Jeno. "And you weren't supposed to tell her my birthday."

"Why not?" Jeno shrugged. "She probably knew."

"She didn't." Jaemin whispered loudly. "I was waiting to tease her since she wanted to be more extra than me."

"Oh." Jeno smiled a cheeky smile. "Whoops, my bad."

"So that's when your birthday is..." I trailed off. "Thanks, Jeno!"

"No problem!" Jeno smiled, his eye smile getting bigger by the second. "Do you need in help in planning?"

"Only when necessary." I told him.

"Guys~" Jaemin whined. "This is supposed to be my birthday!"

"And you're complaining because...?" Jungwoo asked, confused.

"I don't want to lose!" He whined. He turned over to me and made a weird, creepy face. His hands formed into a heart. "I love you~ Can you let me win?"

"I love you~ Can you let me win?"
