We all walked into the living room, sat down, and got comfortable.
" So, are you interested in the apartment? " she asked.
"Yes, I'm definitely interested."
"That's great. I just love to see young couples doing big things with their lives."
"Oh, no. We're not a couple. We're just really good friends."
Damn, it hurt like Hell to say that. But Gelo probably doesn't feel that way about me. He probably only sees me as a sister.
"So, how much is the apartment?"
"Well, it would only be $950 a month and $900 down. So, it would be $1850 if you were to pay today. Does that sound alright?"
I looked over at Gelo and he nodded.
"Yes, I'll take it."
I reached into my wristlet and pulled out correct change. I handed it to the lady and she handed me 2 sets of keys to the apartment. She told me that her daughter, who was 18 would be coming by to collect the rent every month. I thanked her and she left. I was so happy, I started doing flips in the living room.
"Aye, calm down before you break something and have to go to the hospital." Gelo said.
"Ahhhhhh. I'm so happy. Hey, since we don't have classes tomorrow, do you want to help me move my stuff in?" I asked.
"Yeah, sure. But, only if I get my own drawer and stuff here."
"Deal."
When I got home, I packed up my room and bathroom. I packed everything except my furniture. I went across the street to my dad's house and did the same thing. Yes, my dad lives across the street. When he and my mom decided to get a divorce, he wanted to be close to me and the house across the street happened to be for sale, so he moved over there.

^This is my dad's house and everything in his house is white-themed.
The Next Morning
I woke up and threw on some clothes.

I started packing up the last minute stuff like my toothbrush and toothpaste, stuff like that

I started packing up the last minute stuff like my toothbrush and toothpaste, stuff like that. I sat on my bed and scrolled through my phone, while waiting for Gelo. By the time I got outside, he already had the U-Hail hooked up to my G-Wagen. We began working quickly while listening to my phone, which was hooked up to the speaker. We finally finished and hopped in my car. We pulled up to the apartment complex and started unloading the U-Haul. We got all the boxes inside and took a break. An hour later we started to unpack the boxes. With both of us working, it went by faster. When we were done, we got in my car, which was still connected to the U-Haul. We hit up every Home Goods and grocery store in L.A. until I thought we had gotten everything I needed. When we got back to my apartment, we unloaded the U-Haul again. Gelo went to return the I-Haul and pick up some food, while I finished organizing everything how I wanted it.
When he came back, I put Black-ish on on Netflix. We sat in my new room, talked, ate, and watched T.V. We were currently talking about whether or not, I wanted a roommate. I don't know, I'll think about it in the morning.
"Hey, you know what. Maybe you can..."

Bruh, these cliffhangers though.

Is Dasani going to ask Gelo to move in.

Sooo, she didn't tell LiAngelo how she feels.

How y'all feel about the new apartment.

Remember what I said about the realtor lady's daughter, it's gonna be important later in the story

Should I just start leaving everything in Dasani's POV or do y'all like it when I do Gelo's too. Comment and let me know.
