In the somewhat near-future, a disease unlike any other threatens to destroy the world as we know it. Humans and supernaturals alike are being given the chance to save them before they too are infected.
Meanwhile...
--At the end of their time in Dreamscape, and soon after Dr. Arboria's message, the characters ran and followed the light. But they didn't make it, or so they thought--darkness closed in, enveloped them, and they have been asleep for two days.

< in the distance, there is a scream. Several screams, high-pitched. It is the sound of children. >

[There is an ongoing investigation surrounding this transmission. Some assume that one of the members of the group sent it out in hopes to be traced back to...somewhere. Those reading into this believe it is either a part of the birth of Animus, or the attacks that had occurred earlier on the 4th. It is unclear now.]
