Prolouge

Angelina's POV

"You're lying" I said as tears filled my eyes.

"You just can't handle the truth Angelina" Jace said rolling his eyes.

"Why are you being such an ass Jace!" I said.

"Angelina I cheated on you, so what? It's not my fault you can't handle life" Jace said. I looked at the promise ring on my finger and sniffled.

"I love you" I said to him.

"I never loved you" He said to me. That right there, those words hurt me. My heart broke and I felt my whole world coming down. I looked away from him and ran my thumb over my promise ring.

I could see Jace looking at me from the corner of my eye as I slowly slid the ring off my finger. I held it in my hands.

"You gave this to me" I muttered.

"What?" Jace asked me.

"You gave this to me and told me that you loved me and that you wanted to marry me someday" I said to him.

"Well I lied and you're gonna have to get over it" He said.

I stared at him and slapped him across the face, "Get over it?!" I exclaimed as tears were rolling down my face. "How do you get over someone you love?!" I questioned him.

"That's not my problem" Jace said unlocked the car doors. "Now get out".

"Are you being serious right now?!" I screamed at him.

"Get the fuck out Angelina, I never want to see your face again" He said to me.

"You know what, fuck you!" I screamed getting out of the car. I slammed his door and he sped off leaving me in the dust. I looked down at my wrist and saw the tattoo that both of us got.
