I don't suppose you would remember me if I told you my name. My real name, of course. It is far too plain and altogether un-memorable.
So, for this story, I shall give myself a new name. A name which a princess, or a woodland fairy might be called. Yes, I am told that this story needn't be truthful, that fictional stories are some of the best kinds of stories. The kinds of stories that captivate you, and transport you to a magical world, a world that came from the imagination of another. They are most often stories of fiction.
But I believe that our world, this world, can be just as fantastical and wonderful as any imaginary one.
So, let me tell you a story.
The story of a girl, not much older than twelve, who saw the world with shining eyes and a warm heart. Who believed desperately in the goodness of the world.
Let me tell you the story of a girl with many names.

This is the Quill Pen Girl.

Hello dear reader. Thank you for reading the first, albeit short, instalment of my book!
