The Lost Prince of Cosmo

Prologue: The beginning

I am not an accurate story-teller nor am I an excellent prophet. But before magic was born into this world, it was believed for a long time that these pieces of broken records of our history played an important part in its emergence.

290 BME
The world was ancient. The course of human evolution was gradual and for the past hundred years, earth was inhabited by irrational creatures. Curiosity being innately present within each human being at the time, they started building fortresses which they can call home and established law and order. Uncivilized people became tribesmen and women. People learned to hunt for food and gather resources efficiently together. It was year 290 BM (Before Magic) where a society was first functional.

350 BME
Tribes began developing their own unique forms of defenses that served as their territorial protection and security. The chieftains of the large tribes from the east and west gathered in Nactan point (a massive land where the border of east and west land meets) to execute the historical establishment of the so-called "Pact of the 12 tribes" where agreements about economy, military, and land systems where unified.

400 BME
The historical pact became popular and some of the small tribes employed the systems. For fifty years, the earth's first society was fixated on expanding their territory and alliances. Life floursihed.

420 BME
A large portion of the world was civilized under the pact. But minority groups are still seen in some places. Before it was known, the world was shaped to believe that the pact was the only way to civilize a tribe. Middle to large tribes began viewing the minority as revolutionaries. Some waged wars against the minority battling them in a one-sided bloody combat using the pact as their blind justification. This era was tragic for the minority tribes.

450 BME
Thirty years had passed, almost all of the pactless tribes have been eradicated.

This was the last entry in the world book of Nactan City. As I said earlier, it's just a piece of history that is far from being complete. Magic now engulfs the earth and everything is different from how it was during the ancient time. After almost 500 years, no single record of scripture was found that will continue the documentation of how magic came to be. It's as if it was erased.
