Nine • Dolls

"I held onto your soul with my Atum... If I broke your arm like that, Master Dio would be happy, however, the moment I did that Mr. Joestar, Kakyoin and Y/N would definitely beat me up. I don't want that."

"So we'll do this instead" he says sitting down in front of a screen "We'll gamble our souls on videogames, when I admit defeat I'll release your arm" you frown.

"Well well, am I already in your hands?.. I see, but you better not regret the path you've chosen D'Arby..." Jotaro says.

Kakyoin was the first opponent, when he said he'd wager his soul, D'Arby pulled out a doll that looked like Kakyoin, you started shaking, you thought that doll was probably one of the creepiest looking out of his collection.

They were both playing F-Mega against each other, you watched in amazement all of Kakyoin's movements inside the game.

"Kakyoin! Are you familiar with this game?!" D'Arby seemed taken aback by Kakyoin's spin " 'You don't need to know..' " said Kakyoin, you smile "Get destroyed D'Arby" you thought.

Everything was going fine, Kakyoin even managed to get inside the tunnel with D'Arby despite having less power. However, when Kakyoin and D'Arby exited the tunnel, Kakyoin pushed D'Arby off the track, but D'Arby managed to land on the other side of the track perfectly "Don't admit defeat Kakyoin/Noriaki!" both you and Jotaro said at the same time, but it was too late. You watched in horror as Atum pulled out Kakyoin's soul right out of his body. You tremble as you glance at his body, his eyes were completely lifeless.

You look back at the doll, now with Kakyoin's soul in it, you glare at D'Arby. Jotaro was heading towards the chair but you stopped him, your face was serious, noone in the crusaders had ever seen you that determined and serious as you were now. You walk over and sit down looking at the screen "Don't bother changing the game, we're going to play exactly how it is set now, same settings, same cars, everything" you say "I hope you know that that doesn't mean you're going to win, Y/N" you keep looking at the screen, "I know that, however, I'm just lazy to change anything, so we're playing how it is now, same track and everything, understood?" you say smiling at him "Sure" he says smirking.

"Hey Jotaro, If I lose, I'll be counting on you." you say looking back at the screen, you don't hear a response. "Whatever, let's win this" you think.

The game starts, D'Arby seems to be doing the same strategy again, pressing the same button repeatedly, you just stood there controler in your hands, your expression was stiff and focused.

The cars then begin to move, D'Arby being right in front of you, of course, you could hear Joseph shouting and yelling in the background but didn't bother to try to understand what he was saying, you manage to get right next to D'Arby right befor a turn, since you were on the inside of the turn this gave you an advantage, and you got a little faster than him, you could see him glancing at you, probably checking for a change in your expression, however, your expression remained the same, stiff and focused.

When you were about to enter the tunnel, D'Arby realized he had less power than you so he did what Kakyoin had done and went on the tunnel's wall while you were on the ground.

The tunnel was pretty much the same as in Kakyoin's race and none of you seemed to be stressing or straining themselves, you were side by side and you were getting faster on some or the turns, just to slow down once more, intentionally, so you would be side by side again, "If you're trying to get me to push you off so you can do the same thing I did, I'm not doing it, don't bother" he says, "That's not what I'm doing, don't worrt about it" you say, expressionless.

You were reaching the finish line and you still had quite a bit of power saved, so you decided to use it.

You rammed your car against D'Arby's just for fun, he seemed to tense up, you then use the rest of your power to boost yourself till the finish line, D'Arby seemed to have the same idea, but was a tad too late and you got right in front of him, so when he accelerated, he just pushed you forward and you won the race. You smile looking at him, he seemed upset. "How?! How did I lose to such a simple and dull race like that?!" he says, you weren't too sure yourself, maybe he was being cautious because he thought you would do crazy tricks like Kakyoin. "Give him back" you say "I refuse" he says, smirking, you glare at him "What do you mean 'I refuse'?! I won the race! Give him back!" you yell "No, you didn't.." he says looking at the screen, you look at it "Huh?!" the screen said that D'Arby's car had won "H-How?!" you say "You don't need to know" he says, before you feel your spirit being dragged out of your body. You could see your body from where you were, being grabbed by Atum, you were completely stunned "How did he win?!"

You are now inside the doll, you can't see, but you can hear, and feel. "I don't know how she did it, but somehow she got confused and thought my car was hers" you could hear D'Arby's laughter "That's a lie! I'm sure it was mine!... But... Maybe he's actually right... How embarassing..." you think.

You were now back in your body you looked around and so was Kakyoin, you smiled at him, and he smiled back, you were glad both of you were back. You were also glad you got back in time to see Jotaro beat up D'Arby.

[A/N] mkay waddup, it's me...hi. Anyways, I hope you liked this chapter, sorry it took so long to update, also! About you not being able to see, I just assumed it since when D'Arby opens the cabinet/closet thing, the woman asks if D'Arby is there, so I assumed she couldn't see him, then, he says he can talk to them, so I assumed they could hear, since also, how would the woman know if anyone was there in the first place when she called out for D'Arby, if she couldn't hear the door HM?! The feeling thing, idk if it's my mind messing with me but if I recall correctly, the woman asks for D'Arby to touch her...? Idk, anyways, next up is gonna be Dio's fight ;) hope u're excited.
