It's been a year, since Gene and Zenix became a couple and Gene had some big plans. Today was there anniversary, Gene lead Zenix up a path, the two remembered fondly. The path that lead to the large willow tree they would climb up every sunrise on each birthday. The two males climbed to the top with Zenix on the lower branch and Gene on the higher one.
Remember when you use to be scared to climb this tree?" Gene asked
Yeah, can you blame me?"
No, I don't" Gene glanced down at the black box in his pocket.
Hey Zenix?"
Yeah?" Zenix turned to see Gene sitting on the same branch with the little black box.
Zenix, will you marry me?"
Yes yes a thousand times yes" the two kissed happy that, the two would never have to spend the their life without one another.
That is what Zenix's dreams meant, that memory he would always see? A snip into the future location of where he would be when his world fell back into place.
