Dear Mother,
It's been a few weeks since the banging incident, and since than I've been feeling rather sick. Arbany took a few weeks off work to take care of me, but he only comes into the bedroom in the morning to give me breakfast. Then he disappears for the rest of the day until dinner time. He doesn't tell me where he goes, but I have a feeling that he's going to the basement. I know it sounds silly, since he doesn't have a key and all, but I'm sure he's down there. It doesn't make it any better that I can't get out of bed to follow him.
