I was sitting on my bathroom floor with a razor in my hand.
Do it.
No! Don't do it!
My self conscious was arguing with itself until I heard a knock at the door.
"Yo! Colby! There's this party at Elton's house, you coming?" Brennen asks through the door.
"No, I just want to stay home," I sigh.
"You always stay home! Come on, it's just one party," Sam whines as he approaches the bathroom door. I sigh and hide my razor in one of the drawers and walk out of the bathroom without saying a word.
"So is that a yes that you're coming?" Brennen asked.
"No," I reply as I grab my keys and approach the elevator. I take it to the top floor, then walk until I find a ladder to the roof. I sigh as I climb it, then find a place to sit and watch all the cars below rush to their destinations. I then hear two sets of footsteps running towards me and I just groan in annoyance. I turn around to see Sam and Brennen.
"Please come, you need to get out of the house," Sam says. I sigh and finally give in.
"Fine. Just this once," I say as I get up. Sam and Brennen both hug me and start jumping up and down as they cheer. I just groan and struggle to get out of their grip. They finally let go and we all go get ready.
I get back to the apartment and take a shower. Afterwards, I get dressed and straighten my hair. Sam, Brennen, and I walk out the door and start walking to Elton's house for the party.
Nicole's POV
"Niki, there's a party tonight at our friend Elton's house, and you're coming. Doesn't matter what you say," Kat says as she pulls out her makeup and hair stuff.
"Oh really?" I question as I quickly get up and try running to my room.
"Not today, you're going to this party," Gabi says as she stands in front of my bedroom door; blocking me from entering. "And plus, don't you want to meet some guys?" I shake my head and try to get around her. Kat then comes up behind me and grabs me then pulls me back to her vanity. I just sigh and let her do her thing. Kat does my makeup while Gabi does my hair.
"So you know Sam, my boyfriend?" Kat asks.
"Yeah. You know, it's not like you talk about him all the time or anything," I say sarcastically. "But go on."
"Rude," she laughs. "Well anyway, he has this friend, and I think you'd really like him. He hasn't been himself lately, but I'm sure you two will get along," she says with a smile.
"Have any pics?" I ask, now curious about this guy; even though she didn't even give me details about him. I always trust Kat when she says that I'll like someone. Mainly because she's right like 99% of the time. She nods and goes through her phone to find a picture. She turns her phone towards me and I'm instantly mesmerized at the sight. His curly brown hair, his icy blue eyes, everything. He is just - perfect.
