"Daddy? What's wrong with my hands?" Asked storm looking at her hands, the look on her face was petrified. "Doctor, what is wrong with her hands?" Asked Storm's Dad. "She has a disease that is extremely rare, so rare in fact that the disease was created accidentally, and was never meant to be created. She has caught this disease somehow, we have no clue how and why." Said the Doctor. "What is the name of the disease?" Asked Storm's Dad. "Glassanomia, where the bones turn too fragile for her to actually move her hand, we had to do a surgery to turn her hand into glass, none of the other materials would allow her to move her hand, except for glass." Said the Doctor. "Thank you, Doc." Said Storm's father as he walked out the door holding Storm's hand. They both got in the car and drove away. Storm was still looking at her hands, they were in bandages. "How are you, sweetie?" Asked Storm's Dad. "I'm okay, daddy." Said Storm.
~10 years later~
"Having glass hands sucks." Said Storm as she was walking down the stairs. "Hey kiddo! How is it being 15?" Asked Storm's Dad as he was setting the cereal down at the table. "Eh, not as bad as I thought." Said Storm shrugging. "I wish I could get rid of these glass hands." Said Storm looking at her hands. "it's a disease that was created by accident so there is no cure for it." Said Storm's Dad setting down the milk on the table. Storm thought. Maybe there is a cure for it! "So honey you know why you can't go out today." Said Storm's Dad. "I can't go out because my hands are VERY fragile." Said Storm in a annoyed voice. "Good, but remember you can only go out with your friends and go to the cafe, that's it." Said Storm's Dad. "Okay." Said Storm walking upstairs. "Hm, what should I wear today?" Said Storm looking at her selection of clothes. She put on a yellow sweater and a hat that says "sad" and dark blue jeans with Vans. "This is good enough." Said Storm, grabbing her phone. Storm walked downstairs and hugged her dad goodbye and walked to Starbucks.
