"Applejack, darling!" Rarity smiles walking over to her close friend. Applejack looked away from the inside of her locker, greeting the fashionista with a smile.
"Howdy, Rarity. What's up?" Applejack said to her friend. Rarity seemed excited.
"Haven't you heard? This school is finally getting another skyling!" Rarity said, squealing at the end.
Applejack was shocked. Finally, something interesting was happening. After all, she had never really got to know a skyling. Sure, there were two at the school, but Applejack didn't care for them. They were stuck up and rude.
"That's great! Has anyone volunteered to show her 'round yet?" Applejack asked.
The magical sighed, "Unfortunately, yes. Trixie did."
"Trixie?! Oh brother. That poor skylin'." Applejack said, laughing after thinking about what the skyling was going through.
"She should be here now, actually." Rarity said, pulling out her phone to check the time. Since Applejack and Rarity both had to go for an early morning class, they had an hour every morning to roam the school and talk while waiting for their friends to arrive.
The bell suddenly let out a long ring.
"Guess we'll just have to wait to meet her. Let's go grab Pinkie and head to class." Rarity said, picking up her backpack. "Where do you think she is today?" she asked, looking around for their pink haired friend.
"She's probably by the candy machines," Applejack smiles at the thought of her crazy friend, "That Pinkie."
"I agree completely, dear. We just have to get something for her that will get all of that energy out. I swear, she's like a child whose constantly on a sugar rush." Rarity shaking her head as she giggled. Applejack laughed along.
Everyone at the school knew Applejack, for her parents were very rich. They lived in the Apple Mansion at the top of Canterlots peak, with many acres of apple trees growing behind them. Despite being rich, Applejack didn't take advantage of her wealth. She wore normal things from normal stores, and she bought the same supplies as the other students. She also has two best friends, Rarity and Pinkie Pie. She adored them both, for they didn't judge her by her wealth. They loved her for who she was.
After retrieving Pinkie Pie, and going to class, Applejack was VERY desperate to meet the new skyling. With lunch just around the corner, Applejack was simply determined to meet her.
"But how..?" Applejack said quietly to herself.

The final class before lunch was tedious, but it finally ended. Applejack met up with Rarity and Pinkie Pie.
"And then I was sitting in class, right? And Mrs. Cheerilee introduced the new girl!" Pinkie Pie beamed.
"What's her name, darling?" Rarity curiously asked as she bit into her sandwich.
"That's what's strange! Mrs. Cheerilee didn't say it!" Pinkie Pie sighed.
"That's kinda odd, isn't that the point of introducin' someone? By tellin' people their name?" Applejack said, clearly confused.
"She looked strange, too. She had her wings tucker back so far, they were barely visible! I think her hair is red, that's the only color I could see through her hoodie." Pinkie Pie explained to her friends.
Both Rarity and Applejack were confused, but simply left it alone.
"Hey! Rarity!" A girl walked over to the three girls' lunch table.
