I rested my head on his chest, breathing him in. Taking another deep breath, I lifted my face to his and smiled. "I'm glad you're happy about this. I was worried it would be too much as soon as we got married, and with twins..."
I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head. "Wait...did you say twins?"
I nodded. "The doctor found two heartbeats. We're having twins. I'm a little anxious about it all but..." My ramble was cut off by Josh's mouth crushing mine. I wrapped my arms around him and let myself drown in his kiss. At this moment, I didn't think I could possibly be more blissfully happy.
Josh started pushing me toward the bed. Breaking the kiss, he looked at me nervously. "Is this still ok?"
I laughed a little and unbuttoned his shirt. "Oh, hell yeah." Grabbing his collar, I pulled him down on the bed with me. We spent our wedding night enjoying each other, finally dozing off as we watched the sun rise through the window. I rested my head on his bare chest, purring contentedly. "Are you sure you're really happy about all of this?"
Josh kissed my forehead and pulled me tight against him. "I am truly happy, (Y/n). I can't wait to see what our future holds."

Six months later, I sat in a small cafe sipping tea while talking with the girls. It was a bit chilly, so I'd opted to wear one of Josh's hoodies over my dress and leggings. These babies could not have been any more ready, nor was I. My mind was going in a hundred directions when Emily snapped her fingers in front of me to catch my attention.
"Hey, (Y/n)! Earth to (Y/n)! You there??"
"Sorry, Em, I zoned out a bit. What's up?"
She sighed with exasperation. "I was saying, I want calla lilies in the bouquets and centerpieces, but rose garlands on the chairs." Emily had finally roped Matt into proposing, so now it was her turn to have the attention...which she was more than pleased to take.
I nodded in response to her request before feeling a sharp pain in my belly. I grabbed the side of the table to anchor myself against the pain. Ashley, who was sitting next to me, put a hand on my shoulder. "Are you alright?"
"I think the twins are about to make their debut." And it hurt like hell.
The girls grabbed their things and helped me into Emily's Range Rover, rushing me to the hospital. I grabbed my phone to call Josh, who was working on a project with his dad at the studio. "Hey babe, I think you need to meet me at the hospital."
I heard shuffling papers and maybe even something crashing as I could tell he was running to the car before he noticed I was still on the line. "I'm on my way."
My delivery room was a bit more crowded than I'd wanted, but everyone I loved was there, so I wasn't complaining. Josh stood by me, holding my hand. Our doctor came in with the clipboard and checked some of the monitors I'd been hooked up to. "Well, Mr. and Mrs. Washington, everything looks good, but since (Y/n) had some extensive abdominal surgery," I could see Josh cringe at the though of the accident, "It may be best to do a c-section. It's a longer recovery, but in this case, probably the safest route for both (Y/n) and the babies." I nodded and let the nurses take me to the operating area to prep for the surgery. Once I was set up, they let Josh come in to sit beside me.
After what seemed like an eternity waiting for something to happen, I heard the cry of the first twin. The nurse held the baby over the curtain for us to see. "You have a daughter," she stated as she held the little girl there for a moment before taking her to be cleaned and checked.
Not long after, we heard another cry. Another nurse held up a baby boy. "And a son." Once both babies were cleaned and wrapped in blankets, the nurses handed them to us to hold. I ran my finger along my new son's cheek and watched as Josh stared at his daughter's face in wonder.
"This is amazing, (Y/n). They're so perfect." Leaning in, he kissed me softly. "I love you so much."
"I love you too, Joshua." I handed the baby back to the nurse before the anesthesia took effect and I dozed off for a while.
When I woke, I was in a room, between two hospital cribs. One had a sleeping baby and the other was empty. I saw Josh sitting on the couch, feeding and softly talking to our son. It was so sweet. I shifted myself on the bed, taking care with the staples in my belly, and Josh looked up. He stood and placed the sated baby back in the crib before scooting between it and me to kiss my forehead.
Everyone had been to visit during my stay, and we'd chosen the names for the twins. Hannah Elizabeth, for his sisters, and Robert Christopher, for Josh's dad and best friend. After a few days in the hospital to recover, we were ready to go home. Our little family life was just beginning.
It was hard to believe all of this was because I wanted to stop a terrible prank.
(A/N: So I decided to end the story here. I felt like much more would just drag it out and this seems a good place to end. We can assume that everyone lives happily ever after, because hey, it's fan fiction ;))
