Areum always hated her skin.
The acne,the hyper-pigmentation and the large red
birthmark that took up a little more than half of her
right cheek.
She understood that she wasn't blessed by god
with clear skin but she believes she could make a
change anyway.
She did her daily routine as she rubbed the bubbly
soap to her face reaching every crevice.
Squeezing a tube of Hydroquinone she rubbed it in
over the red blotch.
Her mother told her that the angels kissed her a
little too much on that area and that's why it was
there.
But she wished the angels would've resisted.
