For You; Everything.

Keith and Lance rest together after a tiring/draining day.
Keith manages stay awake right after Lance falls fast asleep and takes this time to reflect on his feelings for his lover.

It felt as if time had stood still.
Maybe for a few seconds, a minute or an hour. Maybe it didn't stop at all. Maybe it was the silence that consumed the room that made it feel like there was no existence of a 'yesterday' or a 'tomorrow'; only a today.
His breath hitched slightly as he fixed his gaze on the resting figure laying by his side. A faint smile tugged at his lips as his hand reached out to the other male, gently brushing aside the dark brown strands of hair hanging loosely over his lover's face. Keith's faint smile grew brighter whilst an unexplainable warmth traveled throughout the entirety of his body. It wasn't the usual case of the butterflies, that he was sure off. It was much more than that. This gave Keith happiness. It was a euphoric feeling that gave him a new found strength within himself. It would present him with fearlessness and encouragement. More than that, it made him want to protect and treasure his lover; Lance.
A subtle flush spread across his face in consequence of his thoughts. He was glad Lance was asleep. Knowing Lance, he'd probably tease him over seeing him in such state, "... especially if I said embarrassing things like that aloud" Keith murmured.
He reached for Lance's hand cautiously in attempt to not wake him up. He yawned as he tenderly held the other's hand, his eyelids growing heavier. "It might have to do with being in the right place in the right time and some luck. Or maybe destiny meant for us to meet... I'm just glad it happened."
