Chapter 27

::::::::: Harley's POV :::::::::::

I was feeding Damian late at night. He started crying while I was sleeping. Bruce had to go and be Batman for the night. I see our family as him and I as bats and our kids are little birds. Of course he had Grayson, Jason and Tim as his robins in the past and now Grayson is nightwing, who knows what Jason is and Tim is Red Robin........no not the restaurant Red Robin....all though it would be funny to see Tim in the Red Robin mascot suit. But again we have two little birdies in this house again. I heard the door open and I turned around to see Bruce in his pjs now well just sweats. He came up to me and kissed the top of my head and looked at Damian.

"Your daddy is home now Damian" I said smiling

Damian smiles at me and then looks at his father and smiles at him. Bruce couldn't help but to smile as well and kiss the top of Damian's head. I finish feeding Damian and put him back in his crib. After we said our good nights to Damian we went to our room.

"What was the trouble this time?" I asked as I sat down on our bed

"Selina as always. Stealing diamonds and other things. Don't worry ivy got her all tangled up in her vines" Bruce said as he laid down on our bed next to me

I smiled and laid down on top of him. He smiles and wrapped his arms around me.

"I did find out where Jason is though" Bruce said as he rubbed my back

I instantly looked at him "what do we do now then" I asked him

"We still have to lay low about" Bruce says to me

I pout and he kisses me as I kiss back. I want Jason back with Bruce as well as with me too. I want to hug him to death.......well not to death but still. I want to see his face again.............

~ later at night ~

Bruce and I where on patrol with nightwing and batgirl..........batgirl who's Barbara Gordon was looking really sad at the screen she had on her motorcycle. I was confused so I had to kill this silents with a conversation well a quiet conversation

"Batgirl. What's wrong? You seem down well you always seem down when we have to work with nightwing" I asked looking at her with a concerned look

She looked up from her screen and looked at me with tears in her eyes as they look like their about to run down her mask and down her face "ever since Grayson left he thought it was best for him and I to break up.......then later on he starts dating that fire star or star fire............I can't help it but to feel so broke and to feel like I just shouldn't be in the world.......I miss him so much" she said and then broke down crying

I felt bad cause Barbara and Grayson did look like a great couple and they always have. Barbara and Nebula have been hanging out a lot more and I've been feeling like I have to be a mom to them at times. As right now my mother Senses kick in and I go over and wipe her tears away. I smile "maybe Grayson still feels for ya. You just gotta talk to him is all" I said looking at her

"I can't. I can't even look at him after the break up" she said and looks down and back at the screen

I was about to say something but Bruce started talking to us in our ear piece

"Guys I found Jason. We need to move in" he said

"We're on our way" I said to him and batgirl and I started our bikes and drove off to the location

As we got there batman and nightwing were there waiting for us

"Batwoman, batgirl" Batman said

"Batman" I said

Batgirl didn't say anything. She stayed quiet and I guess she'll be like that for awhile

"How are we getting in?" I asked

"Through the roof" Batman said and looked at all of us. He was still looking behind me and I looked behind me to see that nightwing was looking at batgirl as batgirl was just looking down at the ground. Batgirl was just playing with a pebble with her heeled boot. She then looked uncomfortable and looked at Batman and I

"What?" She asked as her voice cracked a bit

"Nothing. Just wanted to make sure you were paying attention" I said then looked back at Batman

"Alright now........"

"Well it's the bat family now.....where's Red Robin. Did he die to" a voice asked from behind Batman. we all look to see red hood with a bag

"He has school" I said almost wanting to run up to Jason and hug him

"Your voice sounds so familiar makes me not want to fight you......I don't know why" red hood said

"Cause I'm someone you used to be close to" I said as I saw him pull a gun on me and shoot. I dodged the bullet. Batman went after him and kicked his gun out of his hand. We all started fighting him and nightwing knocked his helmet off of his. We all stopped and stared at a face of Jason Todd. I started tearing up, I finally got to see his face again.

"What the hell are you tearing up for Batwoman" he said with an attitude

"Cause you don't know how much I've missed you" I said with my voice kind of cracking

"What are you......" I interrupted him by taking my mask off

"Mom...." he said and that's all that came out of his mouth

"Yeah and I have to say. Your attitude is still intacted" I said smiling

"Yeah I know.........you guys are gonna arrest me?" He asked

"No and I have to go to. I have work in the morning" Batgirl said and walked off

"Babs....." nightwing said and started going after her

"Did they break up?" Jason asked with a confused look

"Yeah they did. She started breaking before her and I drove over to Bruce and Grayson" I said and looked at Jason

"Oh.......well.......Can I go home?" He asked

Bruce and I looked at eachother and smiled then we both said "yes. You can come home"
