I slammed my hand down on my alarm that I forgot to turn off.

7:05

I sighed and layed on my side in silence. I tried to fall back asleep but it didnt work. I didnt want to get up either I felt empty..like there was no use in getting up. I felt a huge hole in my heart and it stung so much.

Ding

I checked my phone to see one new message from Beverly. I clicked the notification.

Bev 😍
Hey Y/N are you okay? Did Richie come home?

It read, I sighed my breath shaking. I remember coming home to Richie gone, Our parent's yelled at me for losing him. I tried to explain but they didnt believe a word I said. My mom hit me and sent me up to my room with a throbbing left cheek. I shuddered at the memory and shook it off.

Me:
I'm okay I guess, but Richie didnt come home.. He wasnt kidding when he said he would go anywhere but home.. I'm actually worried Bev, where could he be?

Calm down Y/N hes probably at Eddies or Stanleys.

Me:
Not Eddie's

Bev 😍
Right...but hey maybe we could meet up in like 5 minutes and look for him?..

Me:
At least knowing where he is could calm me down but my parents ristricted me from leaving the house..

Bev 😍
Your window? You always snuck out with me at like midnight so what's the difference now?

Me:

Bev 😍
Of course I am, so my house in 5?

Me:
Yeah Yeah ok see u in 5

I clicked off my phone and slowly tip toed to the window. I carefully slid it open and jumped out onto a big tree nearby. I shut the window almost falling in the process and cautiously climbed down the tree. I planted my feet on the ground and bolted out of the sight of my house. I made it to Beverly's to see her on her porch patiently waiting. I always adored how patient she was.

"Where first?" She asked getting up and waking towards me.

"Stanleys?" I suggested

"What about Eddies" she asked giving me a 'please don't think im crazy' face.

"I sighed, what's the point! his mom is gonna scowl us and chase us away if we go?" I said sighing.

Vrrrrrmmmmm

I turned my head to see Eddies mom pill out of their drive way giving us a nasty look while driving away.
I looked at Bev who had a grin plastered across her face.

Ding Donggg

We rung Eddie's doorbell anxiously hoping Richie was here.
