The sun shown into the cold prison, through the bullet proof glass windows. You stirred around in the place you were sleeping, until you finally awoke. You glanced around where you were sleeping, Daryl was gone. You slowly sat up, yawning, and rubbing your eyes. It was a new day, and that was your first night in the prison. Today you are meeting the rest of the group.

You stand up, and walk into the center of the cell block, where people were standing and talking. You notice Daryl leaning against the wall. Rick notices you, and walks over. He puts his hand on your shoulder. You feel a bit uncomfortable with him touching you like that, mainly because he had a rough grip on you.

"This is Y/N. She will stay with us, unless she does something that leads to us not being able to trust her. Daryl is her watch dog." Rick stated. He let go of you and walked over to a young blonde girl with a baby.

You gave everyone a soft smile. A girl with short brown hair walked over to you, with an Asian boy.

"I'm Maggie, this is Glenn." She said, talking about herself and the Asian boy.

You gave her a simple nod, and she walked away. Once everyone introduced themselves, you walked over to Daryl. He was still leaning against the prison wall, wiping down his crossbow. You leaned against the wall next to him.

"Hey.." You mumbled softly, looking over at him.

He simply grunted in response, and tossed his bow over his shoulder. "Get yer bow. We're goin out to hunt." He said in his thick southern accent, with no other words. His shirt had no sleeves, which showed off his muscular arms.

You nodded your head to him, and bit back your tongue. If you would have said something you knew it wouldn't have been something good, and probably would've embarrassed yourself. You hoped he didn't notice how you looked at his arms, they were so sexy. You quickly turned away, and walked to your cell, in which you left your stuff but did not sleep. You grabbed your crossbow, and tossed it over your shoulder. Then you slid your knife into the holster at your side.

'Don't make a full of yourself.'  You thought.

You looked up into the small smash proof mirror in your cell, you brushed your fingers through your long H/C hair, making yourself look more neat. You knew how you were a bit of a restless sleeper, and you hoped that you didn't bother Daryl all night. You soon stepped out of your cell and headed towards Daryl. He was waiting in the same place. You stood in front of him, in your ripped blue skinny jeans, and tight fitted, no sleeves, black shirt. To be honest, you were a bit muscular, you had nice curves. You seemed well fed, your thighs had a lot of fat. Basically, you were thicc, but strong and curvaceous thicc.

Daryl just looked at your face, not saying anything, but slowly licking his lips. Fuck, he sure as hell was sexy. He had an intimidating aura that seemed to engulf you. You tried not to show how you were thinking, but you were very nervous. It was obvious that you were a lot younger than him. He was probably in his thirties, you were around your early twenties.

"So?..." You asked, feeling a bit awkward.

He just grunted in response and started walking. In which you quickly followed.

He led you to his motorcycle. You admired it, although in all honesty you knew nothing about motorcycles. He mounted it, and scooted forward leaving space for you. You got on behind him, and shyly moved your arms around his waist.  You were frustrated with yourself, your heart began beating faster, you hoped he couldn't feel it.

"Why?.." You thought to yourself in question. "Why do I feel so attracted towards him?.. Maybe its just bodily lust.. I've never felt this before."

Without knowing it you had gotten lost in your thoughts, and Daryl had slowed the bike, stopping it, and propping it up. You snapped back into your consciousness, and got off the bike. You looked around the area for any walkers, then glanced over at Daryl. He was looking right at you, your cheeks instantly flushed, and you looked to the ground, pretending you didn't notice.

He let out a deep chuckle, and started prowling into the woods. His crossbow in hand as he walked silently, facing the ground and searching for any tracks.

You stayed behind him, watching him carefully, as you slid your bow off your shoulder and held it in your hands. He obviously wasn't much of a talker, but you weren't really either.

Daryl seemed to have stopped in front of you, but you were too busy thinking to notice, and you walked right into him. Your face hitting into his muscular back, causing you to flinch and hop backwards. He looked over his shoulder at you.

"Watch what yer doin, princess." He says in a low, slightly agitated tone.

You tensed up at his nickname, as well at how annoyed he sounded. "I'm sorry.." You said quickly, your nerves getting the best of you.

He continued walking forward, he found some deer tracks and seemed intent on following them. But as soon as you looked over to your side, you saw it. You saw this huge majestic deer, its antlers were large and pointy. You reached your hand forward, and tugged at Daryl's shirt, causing him to turn around, about to curse at you, until he noticed the deer that had you in a daze. He held up his bow, steadying it, before firing. The arrow went straight into the deer's shoulder, it fell right there.

You smiled with excitement and pushed your hand against Daryl's shoulder, "You got it." You said cheerfully.

He gave you a look of confusion. "A' course I got it. Its not that exciting." He said, confused by your excitement.

"I've never been hunting.. I've never seen a deer this close before either." You said, walking to the dead deer.

Daryl couldn't help but to laugh. "Are you serious?" He asked in a teasing tone.

You, being oblivious to the fact that he was just teasing you, you nodded your head.

Daryl walked over next to you, looking down at the deer. He had a smile on his lips, it was the first time you've seen him smile. You couldn't help but to smile as well.
