chapter 2

A few days later

For the past few days Annie has been excited but nervous at the same time. On the way there she decided she wanted to see Tyler first so she called him.  (T- Tyler A- annie)
T- hey Annie
A- hey T do- do you think I could meet with you first I'm really nervous an-
T- hey yeah it's ok just meet me at the grill I bet you hungry after the long drive
A- yeah umm yeah ok see you then
T- alright love you
A-love you too bye
T- bye

Annie pulled up to the grill nervous. Talking on the phone is different then talking in person. Annie breathed in deeply then breathed out in a heavy sigh. Opening the car door she stepped out and walked to the door of the grill. When Annie was inside she looked around for tyler, once she spotted him in a booth in the corner she smiled and bounced over. Annie came up to Tyler and hugged him from behind Tyler tenses up
"T" Annie breathed out.
Tyler turned around with a huge smile on his face and pulled Annie in closer and breathed in her sent. Annie felt like crying. Tyler pulled her in his lap so she was straddling him. Annie buried her face in Tyler's neck and started crying.
"I missed you so much T" she said between sobs.
Tyler breathed in relief
"I missed you to more than you would think"
Annie calmed down and was just sniffling
"I'm hungry" she said
Tyler chuckled and went to get up but Annie whimpered
"No don't leave me please"
"Ok"
Tyler flagged down a waiter and ordered frys and 2 lemonades. When the waiter came back with the food Tyler turned Annie around in his lap so she was facing the table. Annie leaned back in his chest and sighed to tired to eat. Tyler chuckled and picked up a fry and brought to her mouth. Annie opened her mouth and ate the fry.
That's how they spent there time. Around 6 Annie sighed and said "I have to go to the house will you come with me"
"Sure" Tyler smiled.
"Come on up up" Tyler was pushing her off his lap she stood up and stretched once they paid they went to Annie's car. Annie started the car and let it sit for a minute so he could text elana that she was almost there. Then Annie drove off.

Elana turned to Jeremy, Stephan and damon. "Annie said that she is close and should be here any minute" elana turned to Damon personally "Don't make her uncomfortable"
"What little ol me, never" elana sighed and turned away. Damon and Stephan herd a car pull into the driveway and turn off
"She's here" Stephan said.
Damon got really quiet and stiff. Stephan turned to his brother once he felt his stiffness besides him.
"Are you ok what's wrong"
That's when elana noticed somthing wrong with Damon and turned to him.
"Damon" elana touched his arm to get his attention but he paid her no mind he was just staring at the door intently.
Stephan noticed Damon start to sniff the air and slowly move towards the door.
"Shit" Stephan whispers witch got the attention of elana.
"What what's wrong with him"
Elana asked frantically.
"Do not get in the way of what's about to happen"
"What's about to happen"
Stephan doesn't reply
"Stephan what's about to happen"
There was a knocking on the door. Damon started snarling when he smelt another guy with annie.
"Damon look at me it's about what's yours" Damon looked at him thinking somthing was wrong with his mate.
"Let elana get her ok you will scare her" Damon whimpered but nodded.
Stephan looked at elana and nodded towards the door as he stood infront of damon with a hand on his chest as to hold him back.
There was another knock on the door Damon growled.
He didn't want his mate to wait. Elana jumped to the door at the growl. Elana opened the door and saw Tyler standing behind Annie with his hand on her back while Annie looked down and toed the ground with the tip of her shoe, while biting her lip. Elana invited them inside. Damon started growling when he smelt a male next to his mate but he became fearious when he saw Tyler touching Annie. Damon would have attacked if it wasn't for the fact that Stepan still had a grip on him. Damon looked at Tyler with a hard calculating stare, Tyler paid no attention. Damon was pulled out of his thoughts when he heard a soft voice "hi" Annie looked nervous she hasn't seen any of her siblings since her parents died.  Damon calmed soon at the sound of her voice, his cold stare on Tyler turned soft when he looked at her I mean really looked at her. He was surprised that she was short because her brother at sister are fairly tall. He looked at how she has red plump lips and long brown hair, or how her skin looked smooth and tan, he was concerned at how skinny she looked but he thought that he will just have to fatten her up,  what really got him though we're her eyes they were beautiful
and captivated him immediately they were so round and innocent looking and the green reminded him of the forest floor or green emeralds.
he didn't ever want to look away. Damon was pulled away from his trance when he heard his name.
"Damon, Damon you in there"
"Hmmm what yeah im here"
"Ok well any way Damon this is Annie" Elena introduced.
Annie stuck out her hand ready for him to shake it when Damon noticed that Stephan let go of him. Damon grabbed Annie hand and pulled her towards his chest. Annie gasped and tryed to pull away until she heard a growl. Annie froze and looked up at him only for him to pull her closer and stuff his face in her neck and start to smell her.
"I'm damon" He mumbled in her neck. Annie shivers at the sound of his voice and the heat of his breath on her neck.
Damon breathed in deeply
"Ur mine no one else's mine"
"W-what I I don't understand why are you touching me like this let me go" Annie was on the verge of tears. Annie didn't let people who she didn't know touch her, it made her highly uncomfortable but that isn't why she was about to cry its because she felt safe to safe she was so close to slipping and she didn't like it. Annie looked back at Tyler. Just with that one look Tyler knew what was happening.
"Damon let her go"
"No"
"Damon please you don't understand your scaring her" Tyler tried to take Annie away but stephan intervened. Tyler looked at Stephan in question but he only shook his head.
"Damon let her go"
"NO"
"LET HER GO YOUR SCARING HER"
"Ty ty" Annie whispered from Damon's chest.
Damon growled at another man's name. Tyler then ripped Annie away from Damon. Damon started growling.
"Come with me tonight you don't need to be around them ok" Tyler whispers in her ear. Annie missed her head and left. Stephan turned to Damon
"You did this to your self" He pointed at Damon.
"What was that" Elena asked
"Annie is damons mate but what I don't understand is why you got so possive I have never seen that not even I was like that"
Damon became confused
"I don't know It was like my instincts kicked in which only happens if" Damon stopped talking as if realizing something, Damon turned to Stephan. Stephan then knew what it ment.
"What what does it mean" Elena asked in a hurry.
"It means shes going to have another mate" Stephan replied.
