I let him escape alive. How could I have been so careless, of course he would fight back. The seadweller isn't the strongest troll I've been assigned to kill, but that weapon of his makes it much harder. It's not easy killing trolls for a living, especially high bloods. I can't be caught yet, my mission isn't done yet. If I am caught I'll be culled almost immediately.
There is a lot of blood, mostly violet, but a bit of mine got on the floor from a gash on my stomach. The high blood couldn't have gotten far with his wounds. I should follow him, make sure he-"-ERIDAN A-ER YOU IN )(-ER-E?" Great the heiress, I suppose it's only natural for her to come looking for her dear morail. I hide behind the couch, pulling my sword out of it's strife specibus. A loud screech comes for behind my hiding place. She must of seen all the blood. She dashes out of the door completely oblivious of my presence.
Now back to my prey. There's a trail of violet blood leading out the door and off into distance. I step out only to be burned by the boiling sun. I hiss, running back into the sea dwellers hive. Looks like I'm going to have to stay here, at least no one will be coming to investigate the blood. Not until the sun sets. That'll give me enough time to get out and look for him. I guess I should probably sleep now, don't want to pass out right before I'm about to kill him. I lay down on the couch and begin to slip into dreamless slumber.
