Kennedy's POV:

"Honey wake up." I felt a gentle,warm hand stroke my head,but I didn't want to wake up.My eyes felt rather heavy. "Come on Kenna,wake up." my heart chlenched at the nickname,but I still refused to peel my eyelids open. "Five more minutes,I swear." I groaned.Then I heard a door open and my best friend yell, "KENNEDY,YOU DIMWIT,GET UP NOW." she basically roared.

I opened my eyes and sat up in my bed.I yawned and ran my hand trough my long,brown hair,that I so much despised. "It worked as always,thank you Alexandra." Mary,my guardian yelled back. "I told you Alexa is perfectly fine." she shouted again.

I smiled and I stood up,my feet touching the cold floor. "I'll go now,when you finish come down for breakfast." I nodded and Mary smiled kindly before leaving my room and making sure to colse the door.

I sighed and made my way to the bathroom to do my business.While I was in the bathroom I tought about proper outfit for the first day of school.I finished in bathroom and stepped into my roomy walk-in closet.I pulled out high waisted ripped jeans,plain black and white striped crop top and red and black flannel.And I got my superstar adidas for shoes.

I got dressed,grabed my backpack and phone and basically ran down the stairs to the kitchen,where I found Lex and sitting at the table devouring waffles.She didn't even look up when I entered she just kept eating.I sat down and started munching on my waffles.When we finished se grabbed my arm and ran trough the door.

"Lex why are we in such a hurry??" I asked clearly having no clue about anything. "Maybe because we have only 10 minutes left until the first period starts." she rolled her eyes and shoved me into her black Bugatti.

She got into the drivers seat and got the car started.She started driving,and asked "Kens are you ready for a new start?" I sighed and slightly shook my head. "I don't think so." I smiled sadly "But I'll never know if don't try." I said with confidence.

Her question really caught me off guard and I don't really know what to say.Am I ready to forget the past?Bad moments yes,but if I forget the bad moments I'll have to forget the happy ones too.So it's a hard decision,but I'm sure I'll be okay.People don't call me heartless without a reason.I'll just keep my facade on.Heartless,cruel bitch.

"KENNEDY FUCKING QUINN,SNAP OUT OF IT" I got back to reality,to Lex who was frantically waving her hands in front of my face. "What?" I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
"Thank God,I was waving my hands in front of your face for three good minutes,now get out we're here." she sighed and got out of the car.I followed and we walked to the school entrance.

Everyone around us whispered,when,of course,we heard "KENNERS,LEXA!" we both smiled and turned around to find Felix running into our direction and smiling like a madman.

"FELIX!" I shouted before he could even come to us.I ran and met him halfway,letting him pull me into a bone crushing hug as I almost cried.Man,I missed him. "I missed you." I said truthfully.Even if I didn't tell him he would already know.

"I missed you too,Kenna." he was like my other brother.He always stood by me and protected me from anything and anyone.

"I think you're forgetting something."
We heard a voice and I turned around and pulled Lex into a group hug.We all looked at eachother and laughed out loud.I love the two of them so much.

"Dollface you and your little blonde friend over there parked your car on my spot." annoyingly familiar voice called out to me and I instantly rolled my eyes.Asher King and his little friends.

"And I should care because?" I said and instantly his calm blue ocean eyes turned to enraged blue ones.His friends looked at me like I got myself in some deep shit now.Even if I did I don't care.I don't have anything to loose.

"Because if you don't someone will be injured." he said in a enraged voice.

I smirked, "And that someone or rather something is your ego I assume." I patted his shoulder and walked away leaving him angry and red faced. "Let's go" I said to Fel and Lex.

They followed me trough the crowd that has,much to my dismay,formed around us.I smirked to myself again.

This will be fun.

Hi to everyone who stopped to read this story,because I'm really thankful for that and it means a lot.
I just wanna say that this story may not be the best but I will pour mind and soul into it.
The first chapter was just kinda to sort some things out,like,who are Felix and Alexandra,to mention the fact that Kennedy doesn't have parents.
You will find out later into the story why exactly is it called 'Peek A Boo' but I will just tell you that it's named that for a reason.
And one more thing I want to say is,I want people to leave their opinions when they read my story,so I can know what readers think and prefere,so I can fix if something's wrong.So basically,what I want to say is,feel free to leave your opinions.
