The Rouges ( with Sara Lance joining)

Bad News

*Sara's point of view*

I walked back into the Waverider where my team was waiting for me in the main deck. I did not want to go in there in front of my team looking like crap. I didn't want my team to see me the most broken i have been since i was told that Laurel was gone 2 years ago it still hurts but why wouldn't it she was my sister. I had gotten a call from what sounded a lot like Laurel telling me that my dad was shot and going into surgery.

~Flashback~
*3rd person point of view*
In the library Sara and Nate were talking about the new problem they created when releasing Mallus from his cage. "Captain Lance you have an incoming call from Star City 2018" Gideon informed. "From who?" Sara asked." Im not sure." "Well put this person on" Nate saw this as a sign to leave but when he got up from his chair Sara cued him to stay. "Hello, Sara Lance?" the very familiar voice asked" This is her." "Hi, well i wanted to tell you that your father was shot and he is in the hospital about to go into surgery and i just thought you sould be here for it!" " SHOT OH MY-b-but he is gonna be fine right" Sara panicked."That's what the doctors are saying." "Ok, thanks for calling I'm on my way. B-bye." "Bye." The call ended and Sara and Nate looked at each other and Nate said "Its ok go, take the jumpship i will tell the team what happened. I will look after the team while your gone." " Ok, i will be back make sure nobody does anything stupid and make sure Mick doesn't 'accidentally' burn the kitchen down again!!"Sara said while running out of the room.

~End of flashback~

Sara walked into the main room still trying to make herself look more presentable. She looked around at her very concerned team which included Ray, Nate, Leonard, Mick, Zari, and Wally. They all looked worried and scared for what news she had came with. Sara took a deep breath trying to calm herself down before saying "M- My dad didn't m-make it through the surgery. He-His brain was 7 minutes without oxygen. He seized." She looked around and seen everyone's sad faces even Mick and Leonard felt sad which was a little surprising. The team didn't know Quentin but they felt Sara's pain. Sara swore she seen Ray tearing up.

*Leonard's point of view*
Once Sara said those words i could feel and see her pain. Sara and i became really close though these last years she listens to what i have to say and to my problems and even to my really messed up past and i do the same. I have feeling for her too and she knows but she wont admit her feelings about me. We made eye contact for a few seconds before she quickly turned away. I know exactly what she thinks and how she feels and THIS the pain in her eyes was telling me that she was not going to be OK no matter how many times she was going to say it. Sara was the most badass, strongest and fearless women i have ever met but she was hurting really bad. She was holding all her feeling in i could see it. "And...." Sara's voice brings be back from my train of thoughts. "Oliver was arrested at the same time he's got a life sentence." Crap Queen got locked up for life. I don't really care for the man but he means a lot to Sara. I looked over to the rest of the team and then looked down at the floor. I swear i seen Ray tearing up almost at the verge of a breakdown. We all stood there in silence for a good 5 minutes before i walked over to Sara and asked "Are you ok?" All she said was " I'm used to it."
