Chapter Two

The next morning I woke up early. Considering it was a Saturday I tried to go back to sleep but it failed. I heard a tap at my outside window to my surprise it was Ash. He was sitting in the tree by my window as I moved closer he became more visible. It looked almost as if he'd gotten no sleep.

"Ash it's five in the morning what do you need?".

"Can I please come in? we need to talk"He said softly.

I sighed and let him in knowing it wad probably important. I looked as he sat on the edge of my bed.

"There's something you need to know"He said not making eye contact.

"Ash what is it?" I asked as I sat next to him. He looked down at me looking as if he didn't want to say.

"There's two reasons I hate Ben. One he's hurting you and two he's cheating"He spoke softly.

"Look I caught him and he told me everything. I told he needed to stop and he said it was none of my business. The reason I didn't tell you before is because I thought he would handle it but he didn't. It's been killing me not to tell you but I didn't want to hurt you".

I just sat there stunned and not knowing what to do. I began to let a few tears fall.

"But w-why?" I began to cry.

He put his arm around me and pulled me close as I cried softly.

"shhh" he whispered and I felt like I'd been hit with a bus. After an hour of sitting there and crying I looked at him with my light grey eyes.

"Why? Why would he do this to me? How long have you know?".

"2 months but it's probably been going on longer and I don't know why" He said it with a sigh.

As I buried my face against his chest I could feel him tense. I knew he wanted me, He had told me before. I love him but I wasn't sure I'd be able to love him like that right now.

"You look like you didn't get much sleep"He nodded

"I should probably go" He stood up and went to go leave but I grabbed his hand.

"Stay? I can't be alone please?"I said almost a whisper. At first I didn't realize it than I felt his lips on mine. After a second I wrapped my around his neck and kissed him back. He moved his hands to the middle of my back and pulled me closer. I broke the kiss.

"You can stay here if you want" I whispered and layed on the bed. He layed down next to me and put an arm around my waist.

"I shouldn't have done that" He whispered.

"Yes, Ash you should have that. I do love you maybe not the way you want, At least not yet but I will. Just give me time" I was now facing him. He reached his hand over and rubbed my cheek gently.

"I've got as long as it takes" He said not whispering anymore. I smiled and kissed him softly than turned over. He put his arm around my waist and I fell asleep in minutes.

Sooooooo how was Chapter 2? I'm not sure how fast I'll be updating so keep an eye out! I've done 2 chapters so far I'll be working on the third in a little bit. chapters 3 and 4 will be up by tomorrow I can promise that!
