[[A/N] This fic is based off of a tumblr post I have seen multiple times. I love the idea that Draco just takes his life Into his own hands and changes for the better. Like he gives up caring what others think of him, or his reputation, and does whatever he wants. I have added in a few of my own characters, and they become explained further down the chapter. I really hope you guys enjoy this, not that I really expect many readers... but this is my first fanfic, so any tips on what to improve is appreciated thanks ;) ]

Draco walked through the streets of the town, with a large bag of shopping in one hand. He loved this. He loved the feeling he got when he did something he knew his father would never approve of.
He had just been out with his friends, at what some muggles would call a "mall". Well that was what his American muggleborn friends called it at least. The local british muggles had definitely referred to the buildings as a "shopping centre". The term was a far cry off of its American version, but then again most things were between the Americans and the British. Odd how that works isn't it?

Draco smiled as he reached the end of the road and turned left. There it was. The mansion. His new home as of recent.
He walked through the front door and apparated to his room.
"I'm home!" He called as he walked the length of his chamber, and entered his wardrobe. It was a large room, around half the size of his bedroom. The wardrobe, was a walk in, according to Sacha and Amelia, the American muggleborns that he now lived with.
"Hey!" Sacha said, announcing her presence at the doorway. "What'd ya buy?" she asked as she walked into the room plonked herself onto the large round padded stool situated at the room's centre.
"Well since we have to attend Eighth year, and we dont strictly have to wear uniform, I thought i might add a few garments to my collection, just to go back to school in. Oh, and we also got you guys a few things too." He added as he laid his newly bought items on the stool next to her. She smiled warmly and hugged him from an awkward angle.
As of late, Draco had a thing for hoodies, they made him feel warm and cozy, and filled out his slim form. He laid out two new ones to add to his growing collection, making his numbers eleven now. Eleven hoodies may have been a bit excessive, but this was England, warm garments were a must have.
He had also taken to wearing jeans. Muggles had definitely struck gold with the invention of jeans. They were so comfortable and they hugged Draco's long, slim legs beautifully. He laid out a beautiful pair of black ripped jeans, and silently praised whomever had thought of creating Primark, his favorite British muggle shop.
Then he grinned at Sacha, and pulled out a bag of cat toys and other pet supplies. He handed it over to her and she took it in wonder.
"Dray... Dray you didn't!" She exclaimed, realization sinking in.
He grinned like a Cheshire cat, and nodded. "I did! I got you one! It's like a housewarming present for you guys. I know you really wanted one. Well now you have one!" He announced, reaching into the pocket of his hoodie. A second later he pulled out the most adorable fluffy white kitten and gently placed it in Sacha's cupped hands.
"It's a girl." He told her gently. She was staring at the little kitten in shock, eyes wide.

Draco Malfoy, had changed for the better, he knew that, he loved that, and he was proud of that.

After the war, Narcissa was to be put under house arrest, but she was granted a few weeks away to America whilst thier house had been under repairs.
They had gone for a few weeks, and Pansy had made friends with two American muggleborns, Sacha and Amelia.
The two American women, had been fascinated with all things English, and had insisted on moving back to the country with the trio.
One of the girls' parents were clearly successful, as the women had cleared up buying a house within a week, and were now moving themselves in nicely.

Pansy, Blaise and Draco had fully explained the whole situation to the girls, and had not left out a single detail about thier years of rivalry with Potter at Hogwarts, or the war. They had fully expected the women to leave in disgust at thier mistakes, and were surprised when the girls had been fully supportive and understood that they had changed, and that it wasn't fully thier fault.
Draco had also explained to his mother that he could never live under the same roof he used to call home after so many vile wizards and witches had also lived under it, especially him.
Sacha and Amelia had been swift to offer him residence at their mansion, claiming that any of the trio would be welcome to come and go as they pleased, and that they had far too much room for just the two of them.

And so Draco had moved in with thier new friends, and had become quite close to them. So close infact that he had come out as gay to them not long ago. Of course the girls had insisted on giving him a muggleish makeover, as he was clearly a changed man, and his clothes should fit his personality.

And so, Draco had been introduced to the ways of the muggles. He honestly didn't mind one bit about who made the damn things, only that he looked good in them. His prejudices were so far behind him now, and honestly he had never been much prejudiced in the first place, that was just his father's doing.
At first the girls simply changed his wardrobe, claiming that no person, male or female, should have to wear suits thier whole life, and not much else. So then it was jeans and jumpers, hoodies and t-shirts, trainers and converse. And honestly he was in love.
But then it was technology. The girls had decided that muggle technology was something they could not live without, long ago. They had these things called "phones", and they had bought one for Draco, and introduced him to the lifesaving apps called Instagram and YouTube. Never had he been more convinced that muggles were secretly using magic.
After giving the trio technology, the girls had even introduced Pansy and Draco to makeup. Before Pansy had discovered makeup, she had used appearance charms, and some had been quite complicated and hard to keep up. Pansy had decided that makeup was now the biggest lifesaver in the world, immediately. Draco had not cared for the things like eyebrow pencils, contour and highlight, but things like eyeliner and eyeshadow were definitely a must have, they completely went with the new him.

Draco had even undergone a haircut, courtesy of Amelia, who's brother was a hairdresser, and had taught her techniques. It was short at the sides now, it felt kind of fuzzy because it was so soft and short, and it was alot longer and wavy at the top. The waves, were his natural hair state, before his father had gotten hold of him and used multiple straightening charms to keep it in place.

Draco smiled now as he thought of how much the girls had done for him in just a few short weeks, and how they had turned him from a depressed and defeated man who hated himself, into a proud and kind man who rightfully new who to pin his hatred on... His father.

[A/N] Thank you so much for reading my first chapter to my first fanfiction. It doesn't seem like it yet but, this is most definitely a Drarry fic, it's just that these two new characters seemed like a good idea, and they will play a key part of the relationship. I hope you enjoyed my terrible writing. Trust me its gonna be a good plot, with a slightly slow build and a bit of fluff and a bit of angst.
