Chapter 2: The Plan

A/N- Hello and welcome back to the fan fiction. I apologize that I have not updated this story in a while, I have been busy with family and my other fan fiction but here we are back at it again so enjoy.

Y/N (Doom Slayer) POV

I was following Ash as she told us that we need to head to the mapping room. I have no clue where that is so I'm just following her with Tachanka and Glaz. We soon arrive at a slightly larger tent compared to the others in the area. We all walked into a room with other operators from what I can tell and I saw maps of what I can assume are of the town and buildings in the town and pictures of the creatures.

Ash "So, fellow operators and recruit." she says pointing at me as well as the others in the room.

Man at a table with Explosives "Why is the recruit here anyways." he says looking at me.

Glaz "Well, American, he mowed through the infected at our mission like they were Swiss cheese and if it wasn't for him, the three of us would likely be dead."

Ash "Yes, I know that most of us operators don't like the recruit's because they aren't the most respectful people or the most skilled but this man can stand his own and is also respectful so he might become an operator after this I have no clue."

Doctor "This man is not wearing a recruit uniform but a very high tech suit of armor, so what made you think he is a recruit."

Tachanka "He said he is from Poland and we were expecting new recruits today so we assumed that he was fitted for the job of killing infected."

All of a sudden I have a notification pop up on my visor before a familiar voice starts speaking to me.

??? "Many Systems Offline... Memory Online... Voice Dialogue Online... Predator Suit Integration Complete. Hello Doom Slayer."

Y/N 'Vega?'

Vega "Yes Doom Slayer. I had begun to integrate myself into you suit when you had made my backup, which I thank you for, and I had just completed the integrating and I would like you to fill me in on who these people are and where are we?"

Y/N 'We seem to be on Earth in the past or in a different dimension all together. The one with the turret is Tachanka, the sniper is Glaz, and the redhead is Ash. The rest are there teammates.'

Vega "OK would you like me to talk to them as you cannot talk at all."

Y/N 'Please do also call me Y/N, its the last name for me that I can remember, but only in private." 

Vega "OK I will now call you Y/N in private."

Y/N 'Good.'

Doctor "Now, are you a recruit."

Everyone in the room looks at me as he says this.

Vega talking out of the suit "Hello, I am Vega. The Predator Suit AI. For you question The Doom Slayer is most likely more experienced in combat than most of you so he is most likely not a recruit."

Ash "Wait... I thought you couldn't talk?"

Vega "The Doom Slayer cannot physically talk as he has not in thousands of years but I can talk for him as I can read most of his thoughts."

Doctor "Wait... how are you thousands of years old that doesn't make sense."

Vega "It is an extremely long story that is not important as of now but what you need to know is that the Doom Slayer is very capable of holding his ground in the field."

Glaz "Well that is very clear comrade. He ripped those infected to shreds."

Y/N 'Well it's what I'm good at, killing everything in my path'
