Pulling a pair of jean shorts and a tank top out, I removed my pajamas and dressed. We took a trip to the beach and spent the day swimming and lounging around, then home for a quiet dinner.

"(Y/n)! What about this one? I think it'd look fantastic on you!" Sam called from the bridal store rack. She'd accepted the role of maid of honor without hesitation, and honestly, I was grateful. Her type A personality kept me in line when I got distracted by all of the shiny things in the shop. I found her pulling out a beautiful a-line princess gown with a beaded bodice.

"I'll try it on..." I mused as I ran my fingers along the lace neckline.
"I like this one," Emily walked over with a slinky silk dress with spaghetti straps.

We walked over to the fitting area and shoved the dresses I'd chosen for my first fitting into the plush fitting room. Ashley and Jessica walked over with a dress each as well.
"How about this?" Ashley was holding a dress that looked like a white lace hippie dress. Long bell sleeves and a high-low hem. Cute, and simple.

Jessica's dress was lovely, and would've been suited to her as well. You'd think they were all getting married as well with their choices of dress. Jess's was a beaded mermaid-style strapless dress.

The last one was a sweetheart bodice and silver beaded straps on the shoulders and upper arms. There was also a silver beaded belt, and the skirt was flowing chiffon.

(Another note: My daughter suggested letting the reader choose which dress they preferred, so that's how I'm going to do it. She's a smart kid. Also, I ended up splitting the one chapter I'd written into two because of lots of words and using the pics...)
