"My Lady," the girl cried, moving towards you and attempting to scoop up the clothes, "please, My Lady, you'll dirty them," she added, grabbing your shaking hands and causing you to still, your only movements the rapid rise and fall of your chest as you steadied your crying breaths.
"I need you to pack my chest," you told her, slipping your hands from hers and wiping at your eyes, ridding yourself of the tears, "and don't forget the dresses you have been working on," you continued, turning and walking slowly over to the bed, sitting yourself down on the plush mattress.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, My Lady," the girl started, lifting the dresses from the floor and placing them onto one of the chairs, beginning to fold them as carefully as she could, "but where are you going?"
You let out a deep sigh, your hand staying on your face for a moment, your thumb rubbing at your jaw as you thought. You finally shrugged, glancing over at the girl as she worked, "to visit my parents, I don't know how long I will be gone." She nodded, deciding not to press the conversation further when you had only just managed to calm yourself down.

You raised your hand to the door, slapping your palm against it just loudly enough to wake Tyrion from his slumber. You could hear the sound of his bare feet slapping across the stone floor and smiled softly to yourself when the door opened, revealing him rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. You should have left without saying goodbye, but the idea of never seeing your friend, and brother-by-law, again made your heart hurt.
"Y/N," he grumbled, gesturing for you to come inside and forcing a smile onto his face. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" he asked, nodding when you raised the jug on his table to him, pouring him a cup of wine.
"I just wanted to come and say goodbye," you murmured, pressing the cup into his hand and watching his brow furrow.
"You and Jaime aren't due to leave for Casterly Rock for another month, surely I will have a chance to see you again in that time." You shook your head, remaining silent as you picked at your nails.
"I," you started, taking a deep breath, "I'm going to stay with my parents for a while," you told him, continuing when he only stared at you, "Jaime and I haven't been getting along so well recently."
"I've noticed," he answered quietly, "but I think that leaving is a bad idea," he added, watching as your shoulders slumped.
"I don't know what else to do, Tyrion," you shook your head, "he was hardly opposed to the idea of me going."
"But he will be miserable as soon as you are out of the city," he murmured.
"Then he should get over his pig-headedness and tell me before I'm gone," you growled, shifting in your seat for a moment before glancing back to Tyrion. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't take out my frustrations on you," you uttered and he nodded his understanding.
"You are both too hot-headed for your own good," he told you, causing you to let out a light chuckle.
"You can say that again," you snorted, and he smiled softly at you. "Sometimes it just feels like he hates me, and recently it's been like we are in entirely different worlds."
"But you don't want to leave, you wouldn't have come here and woken me up if you did." He shrugged as he spoke, leaning forward to smile at you. "Perhaps he is stubborn, and utterly idiotic at times, but you love him, and deep down he loves you too, even if he is being a complete cunt about it." You laughed again. Tyrion often knew you better than you knew yourself, but this time it seemed he knew you so well that you hadn't even realised the problem yet. You loved your husband, and there was never any chance of you leaving him.
"I'm sorry for waking you," you told him softly and he nodded softly. "I ought to go back to bed," you added, getting to your feet and reaching out to Tyrion, giving his hand a quick squeeze before heading back to your chambers.

You were asleep when Jaime finally came back to your chambers, and he smiled to himself when he saw you bundled under the covers. He had hardly slept all night, worried sick about what he would find when he returned, but it seemed he wasn't the only stubborn one. You shifted in your sleep, turning over, and letting your eyes drift slightly open, seeing him just slightly before letting them fall shut again.
"You seem awfully happy this morning," you grumbled, keeping your eyes closed as he moved closer to the bed.
"I was worried that I had missed you," he muttered, making the bed dip as he knelt beside you, causing you to glance up at him through one eye.
"As if you could get rid of me that easily," you mumbled, feeling his hand rest on your hip as he settled down on his side next to you, his eyes fixed on your face.
"I'm sorry," he started and your other eye flew open to look at him. "I've been insufferable," he continued, smiling when you nodded in agreement, "and I know it's no excuse but I was just caught up in my own head," he added, watching as your brows furrowed.
"What have you been thinking about?" you asked him quietly, shifting forward slightly to rest your forehead against his.
"Having a baby," he answered quietly, "It's been so long since we were married and we have yet to be blessed with a child," he told you, and a small smile came to your lips.
"It is hard to get pregnant, plenty of couples have trouble with it," you murmured, pulling away to sit up for a moment, and pushing him over so that you could sit in his lap. "It is nothing to worry about," you continued, pressing a kiss to his neck, "It's not like we were trying to have a baby yet." He smiled as he sat up, his arms wrapping around you as he pressed a kiss to your lips. You pressed another soft kiss to his forehead when he finally broke his lips away from yours.
"What if we can't?"
You took his face in your hands, lifting his eyes to look into yours. "Then we will cross that bridge when we come to it," you told him softly, kissing him as lightly as you could. "There are ways of encouraging pregnancy," you added, "and if it never happens we will take in a thousand little street urchins and raise them as our own." He shifted slightly under you, his fingers trailing up your spine, but he still looked unconvinced. "I don't care about where or how we have children as long as it's with you."
