Prologue

"Kwon Ji-Yong, also known as G-Dragon, has broken up with alleged girlfriend, Baek Hye-Yeon. She's known as the lead singer in her band, XO."

"Reports are coming in, Baek Lee-Sin has bought over SM Entertainment just an hour ago! Rumours has it that the building is going into a chaotic mess at the moment."

"Baek Lee-Sin is now the owner of SM Entertainment and the co-owner of YG Entertainment."

Hye-Yeon storms her way into the SM building. The staff greeted her as she entered.

"You're late." Baek Lee-Sin says coldly.

Super Junior looks up from their phones, "annyeonghaseyo." Hye-Yeon greeted in a low tone.

She took a seat next to Eunhyuk, "I am sure you guys have heard." Lee-Sin started off.

"The buying came with a contract, that I will have my daughter marry one of you guys." Lee-Sin says.

Hye-Yeon already knows. She overheard everything at their meeting place.

"Lee Hyuk-Jae will be my future son-in-law."

But she didn't know it would be the guy she's sitting next to. "Can't you find me a much more handsome man if you want to do an arranged marriage?" Hye-Yeon snaps at Lee-Sin.

The boys can't help but laugh. Eunhyuk look down at her, glaring. "You ain't that pretty, don't expect too much."

"Yah." Donghae slaps his arm.

"This is to help clear the news of GD and Hye-Yeon."

"Why am I clearing her mess?" Eunhyuk sits upright in his chair. He can feel his blood boiling and the room feels hotter.

"Because you have mess yourself too. It's helping the agency you're working in now."

"Abeoji, I am sure there's a better way to deal with this." Hye-Yeon tries to convince her father but it doesn't work.

"You both will go dates and movie premieres. I also have a house prepared for you both to stay in. Also go ring shopping, I want pictures and tabloids of you both up online."

"Congratulations my daughter, you're going to be someone's wife."

Hye-Yeon can't help but glare at her father, she's only 21 and she's already preparing for a marriage she never wanted. She's also trying to get over her previous boyfriend.

He was her first love. It only has been a week since she decided to left him.

The boys left the room, leaving only Hye-Yeon and her father in the room. "What did I told you about calling me Abeoji in the office?"

Hye-Yeon stares out of the window, "how can you just send away your daughter just like this?" She says in utter disbelief.

"Well, you're not the only daughter I have."

A tear trickled down her cheek, "okay. I will see you soon." Hye-Yeon turns away from her father and walked out of the meeting room.

"I haven't seen you in awhile." Kang In and Hee-Chul waits outside of the meeting room for her.

Hye-Yeon have known them since she was a trainee here for two years before her father sent her to America to study.

Hye-Yeon found fame with her bandmates while she was there. They rocketed to fame and their music are always on the charts.

"Sorry, I never called." She flash a small smile at the two boys and give them both each a hug.

"It's okay, we will be seeing you often now." Hee-Chul puts his hand on her head. "Sister-In-Law!" Kang In bows formally to Hye-Yeon.

She sighs but still put on a smile on her face, "I will see you guys around... I need to pack my bags and move now."

"Be happy!" Hee-Chul pats her back, sending her to the elevator.

Hye-Yeon feels defeated but there's nothing she could do. Her father controls her life.

She waves goodbye to the two boys and head out.

"Unnie, why didn't you call me?" Choi Sooyoung from Girls Generation appears at the front door.

"Ah..." A wide smile appeared on Hye-Yeon's face, "my dongsaeng!" She gives Sooyoung a big hug.

"We should meet for dinner one day." Sooyoung says, smacking Hye-Yeon on the butt.

"Yeah, I have a lot to tell you." Hye-Yeon agrees.

After a short chitchat, Hye-Yeon head to her apartment in Seoul which looks over the Han River.

Hye-Yeon lives with her younger sister, Ji-Hye. She's only 14 years old. Now Hye-Yeon has to send Ji-Hye to her Aunt's house.

Hye-Yeon sits in the kitchen, staring into black space.

"XO has called it quits. The band has been together for 4 years and made numerous hits."

It was the worst day for Hye-Yeon. First marriage now the disbandment.

"SM Entertainment confirms rumours about Super Junior's Eunhyuk engagement to Baek Hye-Yeon."

"Is Baek Hye-Yeon's marriage the reason XO broke up?"
