"Dad, dad, dad! Where are you going?" says a young Drake, feeling cold and scared by each exulting bolt of lightning.

"I have a pending matter to tend to, son. Take care of yourself." Ben heads to the door.

"I want to go with you, dad."

"No, kiddo. I'll be right back." Drake's dad giggles.

"Don't go dad. Are you coming back?"

"I shall. I promise."

"Okay dad! Goodbye."

Drake is behind the glass door. He sees his father bid him farewell as he stops on the driveway and turns. He gets into his car and heads to work.

A few hours later.

It still rains and it's still night.

"You can't do this. This isn't the solution.", says Ben.

"You gave me no choice, negro.", affirms a white man, pointing a gun at him.

"Negro? Are you really going to turn your back on me? Are you really capable of killing me? I know that's not you. You're not a murderer."

"You don't know me. I am Don Walker, the greatest man on earth and you ... have betrayed and offended me." He targets Ben's head.

"I have a son. Have you thought about that?"

"Yes, I did; and I'm coming for him too." He pulls the trigger, shoots Ben's head and Drake's father dies.

Ben falls to the ground and bleeds heavily. The white man walks away.

At home.

It's raining. The thunder is getting grave and scares the 10-years old boy who goes to his bedroom and hides under the mattress of his bed. Ben leaves a house in which a frightened little boy awaits deresperately his return. His return that will never happen. Many hours later, the house receives a phone call. His mother picks it up whilst Drake leaves his bedroom to eavesdrop of the conversation hoping that he'll hear his father voice stating that he is almost home.

"Hello!" It still rains.

"Hello! Is this ms. Johnson?"

"This is she."

Minutes later, Drake hears the phone falling to the floor as the lightning strikes. She remains speechless and motionless until she sees her son approaching her.

"Mom, was that dad?"

Tears start running down on her cheeks and she falls to the floor and cries.

Days later, they attend a funeral and Drake's mother declares the creation of a revolutionary organisation in remembrance of her husband's death. A cloud shields the sun.

10 years later ...

It's morning in Seattle. The environment is clean and wonderful. The weather is sunny and great. Drake is now 20 years old. He wakes up and seeks his mother. He later realises that she did not come back home from work. He brushes his teeth, takes a bath, cooks breakfast for his mother and him, eats and then starts writing a poem. His mother comes back from work and requests his presence after a while.

"Drake! Drake! Where are you?"

"I'm coming, mom."

He arrives at the living room and sees his mother with two big black-american guys behind her.
