Hi, so this is my new project! This is just a quick little author's note thingy to explain a few things but feel free to skip if you want. I'm doing another short story but with an interesting twist if you read the description. It's all (mainly) through texts!
I actually wrote the basis of this story just under 3 years ago for my first creative writing assignment at university and ever since I submitted it, I've been wanting to extend it and play around with it again. I'm only just getting the chance to now. I have most of the story already so maybe frequent updates? But I'm changing some stuff from the original so I'm figuring the plot out as I go along with it!
Before I get into the story, just need to do some shoutouts to an amazing author here on wattpad who was the inspiration for the original version of this story.
Thank you to @arrowheads for the amazing story 'You Can Call Me Spider-man'. It was the first story I had read way back in 2015 with text dialogue instead of traditional prose. Since then, I've stumbled upon so many with texts, phone calls etc but this one is still my favourite. It helped me become more experimental when writing narrative myself. So yes, the execution is definitely not new but I hope you all will like my story that I showcase through the texts.
