Start from the beginning

sports aren't very encouraged; instead, parents will generally push children to focus on their studies and to excel with those. Table tennis is very popular, as well as badminton and volleyball ("net" games), and figure skating and weight lifting. Swimming isn't very popular, due to many old cities being flooded on Earth.

clothing is minimalist, very conservative--and people bow to great, but do not make contact. No kissing, hugging, etc.

people aren't generally the most religious here, but do believe in spirits, balance, and whatnot. A small population are Eastern Orthodox Christian, though they are very few and far between. >

o Ceremonies:

< (not many ceremonies or celebrations.)

-The Chinese New Year (Spring Festival)--sales, parties, lion and dragon dances, fireworks, dragons moving in the streets, drinks, street food galore. People visit families for reunions, and give red envelopes as well. Dumplings, too--lots of dumplings.

-Lantern Festival--at the end of the Spring Festival, it's basically Valentine's day, but people set lanterns into the sky. Some have different riddles on them, and children try to solve them. >

o Geography/Climate (landscape/agriculture):

< the planet is covered in cities, and within those cities is a harsh clash of inspirations. One half is the harsh, stark-white concrete buildings, a return of brutalism--the other half, colorful yet clean, inspired by Soviet futurism. The planet is also small, full of mountains, walling different cities. The cities are all across the equator--the poles have icy mountains and large oceans, which house research facilities and factories. >

o Flora/Fauna:

o Flora/Fauna:

< limited. With most of the planet being either over-developed cities or tundras, there's little in-between. Zoos house strange creatures and people have pets, but otherwise, what great beasts that ("supposedly") once roamed Gōnglu have been long-dead, or kept in captivity in secret. >

o Laws/Government:

< they have newly joined forces with the GO, but are still strictly communist. One party, an authoritarian regime, led by Gregory Sun as their president. >

o History:

< what began as the West's answer to a colony in space, this started as elite. The wealthy, political members, scientists, whatever, all flooding there to leave the hellhole that Earth became. Russian and Chinese men and women flew up, then people from other Asian countries, but it remains the second-smallest 'main' colony, behind Libidia. It is the planet for the wealthy members of the West, basically--quiet, safe, with clueless people who live in their ignorant bliss. Libidia and Gōnglu have clashed, as well as the people, but they truly do have more in common than otherwise. >
