Never Alone

You knew....You knew this was going to be the end. The end you tried to spare everyone from...your brother from. All those years of pain you tried to hide were all worthless. All those years you wanted to scream was pointless. All those years you crumpled alone in darkness and fear was useless.

You can feel his grip tighten around your throat as he lifted you up into the air.

You wanted to scream... You wanted to scream your heart out...

To scream out all the pain you felt for centuries...but...you can't.
No voice will come out......no one would ever listen to you....

In the corner of your eye, you can see Thor looking at you with
tears and worry. He shouts at you with a muffled voice, telling you to escape but you know you can't...

You can feel your life fading away little by little but you wanted to stay alive.

You wanted to tell Thor...to tell your people how sorry you are...

With a small voice you spoke, "You will never be a god".

The mad titan glared at you, tightening his grip even further.

You cried...

You wanted to cry...

You wanted to say sorry...

You wanted to tell Thor you love him... You wanted him to be your brother again.

Slowly, you can feel your body giving up on you. Your eyes went hazy as your mind slowed and clouded. Life flashes before your eyes...alone....like always...

You whimpered quietly in pain until...

'SNAP'.

Millions of nerves in your body shut down as your spine fatally cracked .....

It was the end...

He dropped you on the ground near your brother before he disappeared into nothingness.

Thor crawled himself up to you and picked you up slowly with tears in his eyes. "Don't worry, you're going to be fine" he whispered, clutching you tightly.

You smiled at him as tears began to flow down your pale face.

"No Thor...I think it's over" you said with a strained and weak voice...

Suddenly, you can feel the pain in your neck getting stronger and stronger by a second. You closed your eyes in pain you can't even describe.

"LOKI! PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES!" he screamed as he hugged you tighter.

"Thor I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the pain I cost you. I'm sorry for every bad thing I did" you repeated over and over again, your life fleeing from your grasp.

"I FORGIVE YOU! DON'T LEAVE ME PLEASE!" he cried "I WANT MY BROTHER TO LIVE! PLEASE! LOKI! PLEASE!"

"I won't leave you brother"

"Promise?"

"...Promise" You smiled before you realised...Death was here already.

"Thor...please hold my hand. I'm having a bad dream" you said it like you and your brother were still children. Thor stared at you in confusion for a moment before his electric blue eyes widened....

He knew what was happening.

He grabbed your pale and cold hand with emotion and held it tightly in his own .

"It's...so...cold brother...I'm... so...sorry" you said with a sigh, your final breathe leaving you.
You closed your eyes slowly, Thor holding your hand the whole time.

"Loki...please... don't... leave... me" he sniffed as he clenched your hand tightly across his chest.

"STAY ALIVE FOR ME LOKI! PLEASE! PLEASE DON'T GO TO SLEEP! I NEED YOU! PLEASE!".

Lightly, a small smile crept into your lips before your eyes closed for the very last time.

All those years you suffered alone was useless indeed.

Turns out... you were never alone... You had Thor...you had a friend... A friend that will always love you for just the way you are...

With that..... Loki...the god of mischief...Prince of Asgard....Rightful king of Jotunheim...Odinson....was no more...
