first investigation

Hank: well this happened weeks ago, tracks could've faded

You: I don't think so this type of soil would've retained a trace

You looked at Hank with your arms crossed you tried to hold back a smug look as you told him

You: nobody's been out here for a long time

Hank: how do you know that?

You: I can tell just by the look I used to have a green dumb remember?

Hank: yeah...of course

You walked back in seeing Connor walk towards the bathroom you silently followed him and watched as he removed the shower curtain revealing a bunch of writing on the tiled walls and a statue on the floor

You: what do you think?

He looked at you then back at the statue

Connor: it apperes to be obsessive writing and a religious offering

You: rA9? so you guys do have some kind of god

You leaned off the wall and looked down at Connor

You: you ready to fill Hank in on what we know?

Connor: yes

So you both walked back over to Hank who was leaning against the wall

Connor: Lieutenant I think we've figured out what happened

Hank: oh yeah? Shoot I'm all ears

Connor: it all started in the kitchen

The three of you strolled in the kitchen looking at the evidence

Hank: there're obvious signs of a  struggle...the question is what exactly happened here?

Connor: I think the victim attacked the android with the bat

Hank: that lines up with the evidence, go on

You: next thing is the android stabbed the victim

Hank: so the android was trying to defend itself right? Okay, then what happened?

Connor: the victim fled to the living room

As Connor sorta reconstructed what happened you both followed him until you were near the body

Hank: and he tried to get away from the android alright that makes sense

Connor: so the android murdered the victim with the knife

Hank: ok your theory's not totally ridiculous but it doesn't tell us where the android went

Connor: so it was damaged by the bat and lost some thirium

Hank: lost some what?

Connor: thirium you call it "blue blood" its the fluid that powers androids biocomponents it evaporates after a few hours and becomes invisible to the naked eye

You: but you can still see it right?

Connor: correct

You: well then lead the way

So you proceeded to follow Connor back over to the bathroom? You watched as he moved a curtain making a broom fall

You: Jesus Christ!

Connor: I'm sorry I was unaware of the broom

You: yeah no shit

Hank: Y/n you alright!?

You: yeah!...yeah I'm good

Hank: alright how about you help me with something!

You: alright! Your good over here right tin can?

Connor: yes

You: then I'll leave it to you

You kick the broom before going over to Hank

You: what is it?

Hank: I was wondering...why do you think the android...suddenly attacked?

You: it was being attacked why wouldn't he defend himself?

Hank: androids don't feel pain

You: well this deviant felt something *chuckles* just don't worry about it

Connor: Lieutenant L/n could you please help me!?

You: why you found something!?

Connor: maybe

He led you back to the hallway and pointed up witch you guessed was the attic

Connor: can you reach up there and see what's inside?

You: I'm shorter than you and you're asking if I can reach up there?

Conner:...oh

You covered your mouth in an attempt to not laugh

You: alright just give me a boost

Connor nodded and to your surprise grabbed your waist and lifted you up

You: woah! Shit! *laughs* I almost forgot *exhales* robot strength

You slid the opening to the attic aside and looked inside seeing what looked like a figure

You: could you lift me up a bit more?

You felt yourself being lifted up then you were sitting on something you shrugged it off and looked around the dark attic then you could've sworn out of the corner of your eye something moved

You: I'm going in

You hoisted yourself up into the attic you walked over to the tattered blanket that was hiding a figure behind it you slowly put your hand over your gun  and moved it only to see a model

You: nothing

You heard noises making you turn around but you only saw Connor climbing into the attic

You: shh

You slowly went through the attic then saw someone run you wanted to say something but you kept quiet once you both made it to the back of the attic the deviant sadly ran right in front of you his LED was red with his uniform covered in blood along with his face and by looking at his arms you could tell he was badly damaged

Android: I-I was just defending myself

You: its okay...we won't hurt you

Android: he was gonna kill me

You slowly walked towards him and gently grabbed his arm

You: you don't need to be scared anymore

Android: I'm begging you...don't tell them

Hank: Connor Y/n the fucks going on up there?

You looked at Connor to see what he was gonna do as you grabbed onto the android's hand

Connor: it's here Lieutenant!
